We are seeking a Senior HR Generalist who will support the day-to-day administration of core HR functions with a focus on employee relations, compliance, offboarding, and process improvement. This role partners closely with HR leadership to ensure consistent, compliant, and employee-focused HR practices while serving as a trusted resource to managers and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations and HR Support<ul><li>Provide guidance to managers on routine HR issues, policy interpretation, and employee lifecycle matters.</li><li>Support investigations, documentation, and follow-up related to employee concerns.</li><li>Serve as primary point of contact for employee relations matters, escalating complex issues to HR leadership.</li></ul>
Employee Lifecycle Management and Offboarding<ul><li>Own the tracking of progressions and administration of operator progression levels, including facilitating monthly</li></ul>
readiness reviews and processing approved progression-related changes within systems.<ul><li>Manage the offboarding processes, including exit coordination, documentation system updates and compliance</li></ul>
steps.<ul><li>Conduct or coordinate exit interviews and summarize trends for HR leadership.</li><li>Ensure accurate and timely processing of employee status changes.</li></ul>
HR Operations and Compliance<ul><li>Maintain HR records and ensure data integrity within the HRIS.</li><li>Support audits, reporting and compliance initiatives.</li><li>Assist with policy administration, creation and updates.</li><li>Partner with HR leadership on process improvements and documentation.</li></ul>
Recruiting and Onboarding<ul><li>Support recruiting and onboarding activities on a limited basis, primarily for exempt or specialized roles, as assigned.</li><li>Coordinate onboarding activities as needed.</li><li>Lead assigned portions of new hire training and welcome week programming, and partner with the HR Generalist on cross-training to support onboarding coverage and continuity.</li></ul>
Projects and Continuous Improvement<ul><li>Participates in HR projects such as HRIS implementation support, process redesign, training initiatives and program</li></ul>
rollouts.
Requirements:

 Qualifications:<ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field strongly preferred.</li><li>
3&ndash;6+ years of progressive HR generalist experience.</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license and acceptable MVR.</li><li>
Experience supporting HR operations across multiple states is preferred.</li><li>
Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.</li><li>
High level of discretion, judgment, and professionalism.</li><li>
Strong organizational and communication skills.</li><li>
Experience working within robust HRIS systems preferred. Knowledge of Paylocity is a plus.</li><li>
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.</li></ul> 
Additional Information:<ul><li>
Location: In-person, Lafayette, LA</li><li>
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am &ndash; 5:00pm</li><li>
Travel: Occasional travel (up to 25%) to company facilities, training sites, and external events as business needs require.
