</h2>DPR Construction is seeking a Safety Manager, to be based in our Atlanta office. This individual will implement DPR&rsquo;s environmental health and safety plan (EHSP) and related programs at assigned construction project(s)/business units. The safety manager will work with our project management team and our subcontractors to recognize and address potential hazards before they exist and will ensure compliance with our EHSP utilizing behavior-based safety techniques. Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following:
<ul><li>Lead and live DPR&rsquo;s injury-free environment culture.
</li><li>Shepherd and develop career path safety coordinator(s).
</li><li>Lead pre-qualification processes between DPR and its subcontractors.
</li><li>Coach DPR/sub management on safety leadership and management practices.
</li><li>Provide trending analysis for project/ regional data on a weekly, monthly and/or quarterly basis.
</li><li>Foster the development of safety programs and protocols.
</li><li>Develop and blend site-specific safety plan(s) that incorporates both DPR&rsquo;s and our core market customers&rsquo; safe work practices.
</li><li>Assist with the continual development of new methods for abating hazards.
</li><li>Perform regular jobsite safety audits of worksite activities. Share findings, corrective actions and corrective plans with DPR project management.
</li><li>When necessary, DPR EHS should utilize every resource necessary, including escalation, to ensure the maintenance of an injury-free environment.
</li><li>Help monitor the subcontractor selection process and adherence to established environmental safety and health guidelines.
</li><li>Measure team engagement regarding safety management practices.
</li><li>Administrative duties may include maintaining regional safety files such as safety training documentation, applicable medical certifications, environmental testing and special associated training, investigation reports including close calls, injury summaries, leading indicator data and other safety and health documentation.
</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">Qualifications
</h2>We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines. The successful candidate will possess:
<ul><li>Minimum 5 years&rsquo; experience on construction sites.
</li><li>OSHA 500 training.
</li><li>Competent person, train-the-trainer, and other activity specific certifications.
</li><li>Familiar with Microsoft office suite.
</li><li>Oral and writing skills.
</li><li>Degree in safety management or CHST certification a plus.
</li><li>Manufacturing / pharmaceutical / OSHPD experience a plus.
</li><li>Carpenter or laborer union affiliation okay.
</li><li>Salary-based position.

Safety Manager

Our AI and Data Team is focused on designing intelligent AI agents, and copilots using modern AI/ML techniques. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, and technical leads, to ensure alignment between business needs and data architecture and define data models for specific focus areas.
 
 
Responsibilities
 
 
 Build end-to-end Gen AI solutions - develop, refine, and implement advanced Gen AI models and ensure the success delivery of projects
 
 Assist in the development and execute comprehensive plans to integrate AI technologies into business processes, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and boosting employee productivity.
 
 Utilize Python and other data manipulation languages proficiently to prepare and manipulate data.
 
 Understand the business requirements and translate into Gen AI solution design that successfully meets the business objectives.
 
 Collaborate with stakeholders, presenting findings to a non-technical audience and providing strategic recommendations.
 
 Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of AI solutions by implementing best practices for AI model development, deployment, and maintenance.
 
 Drive innovation by exploring new AI applications and solutions that can benefit the enterprise, leading research and development efforts to keep DPR at the forefront of AI technology.
 
 Follow the roadmap for AI initiatives, ensuring they align with organizational goals and show measurable impact.
 
 
Qualifications
 
 At least 3 years of experience with Software Development, Machine Learning.
 
 At least 2 years of experience Generative AI, specifically with Large Language Models (LLM).
 
 Experience with generative AI concepts such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agentic workflows, training LLMs with structured and unstructured data sets.
 
 Experience with Data Connectors and API gateways that support seamless communication between systems.
 
 Deep subject matter expertise in AI technologies, including but not limited to Copilot Studio, OpenAI, Semantic Kernels, Azure AI Foundry, Google Gemini, Microsoft 365, and M365 Copilot or Anthropic or AWS platforms.
 
 Familiarity with Cloud computing skills.
 
 Strong programming skills in Python and experience with AI/ML frameworks.
 
 Proficiency in vector databases and embedding models for retrieval tasks.
 
 Understanding of Knowledge Graph is a plus.
 
 Possess strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
 
 Strong communicator with the ability to present ideas clearly and influence stakeholders &mdash; with a passion for enabling data-driven transformation.

DPR Construction is seeking a Telecom Project Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of telecommunications or commercial construction experience to join our data center division. The Telecom Project Engineer will primarily support the Project Manager in overseeing telecommunications projects, focusing on data center infrastructure, including structured cabling, fiber optics, outside plant (OSP) deployments, and low-voltage systems. This role is designed as a developmental position, with the goal of preparing the candidate to transition into a Project Manager role within 1-2 years. The Project Engineer will collaborate with project teams and subcontractors to ensure projects align with DPR&rsquo;s safety, quality, and performance standards.
Responsibilities
<ul><li>Support the Project Manager in overseeing project execution from design through handover, ensuring telecommunications infrastructure meets project specifications.
</li></ul><ul><li>Participate in DPR&rsquo;s Environmental Health and Safety Plan, conducting weekly safety audits to maintain injury-free environments.
</li></ul><ul><li>Assist in enforcing contracts between DPR, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring compliance with terms and specifications.
</li></ul><ul><li>Support the Project Manager in implementing DPR policies and executing telecommunications projects.
</li></ul><ul><li>Coordinate tasks for project staff, such as field office coordinators and accountants, providing direction and feedback as directed by the Project Manager.
</li></ul><ul><li>Participate in trainings and company meetings to support individual and organizational growth.
</li></ul><ul><li>Maintain and archive project files electronically for easy access by the project team.
</li></ul><ul><li>Assist in preparing, monitoring, and updating project schedules, collaborating with the Project Manager to minimize constraints.
</li></ul><ul><li>Manage document control, including daily reports, material procurement logs, submittal logs, as-builts, testing/inspection logs, RFI logs, and change order logs.
</li></ul><ul><li>Distribute drawings, changes, approved submittals, RFI responses, and project information to all relevant parties.
</li></ul><ul><li>Support the assembly, negotiation, and distribution of change orders to clients and subcontractors.
</li></ul><ul><li>Prepare agendas, documents, meeting minutes, and action items for meetings, including client, subcontractor, safety, and staff meetings.
</li></ul><ul><li>Assist in project cost control, ensuring subcontractor changes are tracked and paid, and support forecasting efforts.
</li></ul><ul><li>Support client billing by compiling DPR costs, reviewing subcontractor invoices, and organizing documents per client requirements.
</li></ul><ul><li>Monitor testing/inspection records, safety logs, and building permit inspections/sign-offs, ensuring compliance with DPR and local standards.
</li></ul><ul><li>Coordinate with the quality team to verify subcontractor installations (e.g., OTDR/OLTS fiber optic testing) meet DPR specifications and local codes.
</li></ul><ul><li>Assist the safety team to ensure subcontractors comply with local regulations and DPR&rsquo;s safety best practices.
</li></ul><ul><li>Support technical reviews of telecommunications systems, including structured cabling and OSP, resolving scope or design issues under the Project Manager&rsquo;s guidance.
</li></ul>Qualifications
We are seeking a detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deliver quality work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced data center environment, with the ambition to grow into a Project Manager role. The successful candidate will possess:
<ul><li>Experience: 2+ years in telecommunications or commercial construction, preferably in data center or mission-critical environments.
</li></ul><ul><li>Technical Skills:
</li></ul><ul><li>Working knowledge of telecommunications project scopes, including structured cabling, fiber optics, and OSP deployments.
</li><li>Familiarity with telecommunications tools (e.g., punch tools, crimping tools, Krone/3M/BIX, butt sets, volt-ohmmeters, continuity testers).
</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project), project management software (e.g., CMiC, Procore), scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6), and BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks).
</li></ul><ul><li>Communication: Excellent listening and communication skills to coordinate with contractors, engineers, and clients.
</li></ul><ul><li>Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve construction and technical issues within the project team, with guidance from the Project Manager.
</li></ul><ul><li>Organization: Organized approach to adapt and prioritize tasks to meet project needs and prepare for future leadership roles.
</li></ul><ul><li>Teamwork: Effective participation in a team environment, fostering collaboration and morale.
</li></ul><ul><li>Work Ethic: Strong work ethic, a &ldquo;can-do&rdquo; attitude, and a passion for construction, with a drive to grow into a Project Manager role within 1-2 years.
</li></ul><ul><li>Preferred Qualifications:
</li></ul><ul><li>Experience with quality assurance/control and progressive inspections.
</li><li>Familiarity with fiber optic testing (OTDR/OLTS) and troubleshooting.
</li><li>Experience supporting IT or IP network deployments in mission-critical environments.
</li></ul><ul><li>Driving and Certifications: Must meet DPR&rsquo;s minimum driving standards and secure a company-sponsored American Express card.
</li></ul>This role is 100% On-Site
