Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting dentists during patient treatments, managing clinical operations, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a collaborative healthcare environment committed to excellence in dental care.Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental equipment, and ensuring all necessary supplies are available for procedures.</li><li>Assist dentists during various dental treatments, including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.</li><li>Take and develop dental x-rays while adhering to infection prevention management and aseptic techniques.</li><li>Manage patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Monitor vital signs and medical documentation as needed to support comprehensive patient care.</li><li>Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care instructions, and preventive measures.</li><li>Maintain strict infection control standards by following dental sterilization procedures and infection prevention policies.</li><li>Support administrative duties such as patient management software updates and coordinating appointment schedules with the dental reception team.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience working as a Dental Assistant within a busy dental clinic environment.</li><li>Proficiency with dental software including Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar patient management systems.</li><li>Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and clinical confidentiality policies.</li><li>Familiarity with dental equipment operation, including 3D scanners, dental x-ray units, and other advanced imaging tools.</li><li>Strong understanding of infection control practices and sterilization procedures aligned with healthcare standards.</li><li>Ability to perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques efficiently.</li><li>Experience in pediatric dentistry is highly desirable to support young patients effectively.</li><li>Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to patient care.</li></ul>Join our team to advance your career in a supportive environment dedicated to delivering outstanding dental services while fostering professional growth!Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hourWork Location: In person
