Key Responsibilities:1. Donor Care and Blood Collection<ul><li>Prepare the donor area and ensure all materials are sterilized and ready.</li><li>Perform donor screening (vital signs, hemoglobin check, medical history).</li><li>Assist in venipuncture and monitor donor during and after donation.</li><li>Handle emergency reactions in donors (fainting, dizziness, etc.) promptly.</li><li>Maintain donor comfort, safety, and confidentiality at all times.</li></ul>2. Blood Handling and Storage<ul><li>Label, store, and transport blood units as per standard protocols.</li><li>Maintain cold chain during blood collection, storage, and issue.</li><li>Ensure proper documentation of all blood units collected and issued.</li><li>Assist in segregation and preparation of blood components, if required.</li></ul>3. Transfusion Services<ul><li>Verify patient identification and physician orders before transfusion.</li><li>Assist doctors during blood transfusion procedures.</li><li>Monitor patients for transfusion reactions and report immediately.</li><li>Maintain transfusion records accurately.</li></ul>4. Documentation and Record Keeping<ul><li>Maintain donor registers, blood issue records, and temperature logs.</li><li>Ensure all documentation complies with NABH/NABL/Drug Control guidelines.</li><li>Report daily activities to the Blood Bank In-Charge.</li></ul>5. Infection Control and Quality Assurance<ul><li>Follow aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.</li><li>Participate in internal quality control and audit processes.</li><li>Ensure safe disposal of biomedical waste.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;8,000.00 - &#8377;15,000.00 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>You have passed the GNM couse and have a valid registration number?</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Diploma (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person

Job Description1. To identify, receive and prepare for analysis of all incoming samples / request form sand entering the data accurately on the laboratory IT system and generate the barcode.2. To ensure total familiarity with all instructional manuals and operating procedures (Sample collection Manual, Safety manual).3. Follow the safety guidelines strictly mentioned in the SOP4. Ensure the proper functioning of the section by maintaining the proper coordination between all the processes including sample collection and accessioning of the samples.5. Maintains the records of sample rejection.6. Maintains the records of (Double prick and barcode error) data.7. To maintain your own knowledge and skills to perform the job as detailed within this job description.8. To be familiar with the laboratory computer system.9. To be familiar with client codes, test library codes and test library profiles.10. Ensure proper disposal of waste.11. Ensure proper housekeeping of his place of work.12. Follow the instructions of Doctors and management.13.
