About the Role</b></h4><p>
We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resource Specialist &ndash; Benefits, Payroll &amp; Integration to join our Corporate Services team. Reporting to the VP of Finance and Accounting, you will be responsible for managing core HR administrative functions, including benefits and payroll administration, while supporting strategic initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions (M&amp;A). This role will also serve as the subject matter expert for the company&rsquo;s HR management platform (TriNet), ensuring optimal system utilization and employee experience during periods of growth and organizational change.</p><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>

HR Administrative Activities</b></h6><ul><li>
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity.</li><li>
Prepare HR reports for leadership and assist with compliance audits.</li><li>
Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and system updates. Assist outsourced recruitment firm personnel as needed.</li><li>
Assist with policy development and employee handbook updates.</li><li>
Manage the performance evaluation process.</li><li>
Benefits Administration</li><li>
Administer and maintain employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans).</li><li>
Serve as the primary contact for benefits inquiries and resolve issues promptly.</li><li>
Coordinate annual open enrollment and communicate plan changes effectively.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and other applicable regulations.</li><li>
Partner with brokers and carriers to manage claims and policy updates.</li></ul><p></p><h6 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
Benefits Administration</b></h6><ul><li>
Administer and maintain employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans).</li><li>
Serve as the primary contact for benefits inquiries and resolve issues promptly.</li><li>
Coordinate annual open enrollment and communicate plan changes effectively.</li><li>

Validate timekeeping data, calculate wages, overtime, deductions, and ensure compliance with wage and hour laws.</li><li>
Assist with compliance and workers&rsquo; compensation audits, as necessary.</li><li>
Maintain payroll records and generate reports for management.</li></ul><p></p><h6 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
M&amp;A Integration Support</b></h6><ul><li>
Collaborate with leadership during mergers and acquisitions to onboard large groups of employees efficiently.</li><li>
Develop and execute integration plans for benefits, payroll, and HR systems.</li><li>
Conduct orientation sessions for newly acquired employees and communicate company policies and benefits.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with employment laws during transitions and maintain confidentiality throughout the process.</li></ul><p></p><h6 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
TriNet Subject Matter Expertise</b></h6><ul><li>
Serve as the internal expert on TriNet functionality, workflows, and reporting.</li><li>
Train managers and employees on TriNet usage and best practices.</li><li>
Troubleshoot system issues and liaise with TriNet support as needed.</li><li>
Optimize system configurations to support company growth and compliance requirements.</li><li>
Develop documentation and guides for internal use.</li></ul><p></p><h6 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>

Qualifications</b></h5><ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.</li><li>
2+ years of HR experience with a focus on benefits and payroll administration.</li><li>
Experience with multi-state payroll and benefits compliance.</li></ul><p></p><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
