The 2D Rigger will be responsible for creating complex animation rigs using ToonBoom, create and implement 2D assets for rigs. You will collaborate closely with directors, lead animators, and other team members to bring the story world to life, ensuring consistency in style, mood, and quality. Day-to-day tasks include creating assets, refining clean up, creating character rigs, and maintaining animation continuity across scenes.Qualifications<ul><li>Proficiency in 2D frame by frame animation/2D cut out animation</li><li>Strong skills in digital animating and drawing techniques</li><li>Familiarity with 2D Animation pipelines and general animation processes</li><li>Strong understanding of perspective, composition, and animation principles</li><li>Ability to meet tight deadlines and work collaboratively within a creative team environment</li><li>Excellent communication and problem-solving skills</li><li>Experience using industry-standard design and painting software (e.g., Photoshop, Toon Boom Harmony, Storyboard Pro, or similar)</li><li>Strong portfolio/animation reel showcasing animation skills for animation productions</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>The opportunity to leave your mark on the animation industry by creating immersive, memorable worlds for a groundbreaking series</li><li>A fun and dynamic team of passionate, creative, and talented individuals</li><li>Don&rsquo;t hesitate&mdash;apply now and let your creativity flow!</li></ul>Must-Have QualificationsApplicants must have these qualifications to be considered for the role:<ul><li>Proficiency in 2D animation</li><li>Experience in digital animating and drawing techniques</li><li>Familiarity with animation pipelines and processes</li><li>Experience building 2D Character Rigs using industry-standard software (ToonBoom Harmony)</li><li>Strong portfolio showcasing professional 2D Character Rig work/reels</li><li>3&ndash;5 years of experience in 2D animation production/Character Rigging</li></ul>Preferred QualificationsApplicants don&rsquo;t need to have these, but they&rsquo;re a plus:<ul><li>Strong understanding of visual storytelling and cinematic composition</li><li>Ability to balance artistic vision with production deadlines</li><li>Excellent teamwork and communication skills</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Animation, Fine Arts, Illustration, or a related field</li></ul>Job Type: ContractPay: From $25.00 per hourPeople with a criminal record are encouraged to applyApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Are you committed to meeting strict deadlines, even if it involves working some weekends?</li><li>Do you have a strong portfolio/animation reels showcasing your work in 2D Character Rigging?</li><li>Are you proficient in creating 2D Character rigs in Toon Boom Harmony Software?</li></ul>Work Location: Remote
