Information about the job:
<ul><li>Job Title: Project Technical Manager.
</li><li>Projects: Onshore Project.
</li><li>Location: Doha, Qatar.
</li><li>Rotation: 42 working days holidays with 6 flights (round-trip) each year .
</li><li>Duration: 12 months (renewable).
</li><li>Salary: Please state your realistic expectations when applying. This will be discussed with the right candidate.
</li><li>Incurance: Provided.
</li></ul>Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:
<ul><li>Master&rsquo;s or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering (any relevant discipline).
</li><li>Minimum 18 years of engineering/project experience.
</li><li>Valid DP Advanced Certificate.
</li><li>Hands-on experience with Brownfield projects and NFPS projects.
</li><li>Experience with offshore compression platforms and living quarters.
</li><li>Strong background in engineering, technical operations, and project management.
</li><li>Demonstrated experience in subsea, sealine, and deepwater engineering projects.
</li><li>Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external engineering partners.
</li><li>Familiarity with design standards, installation methods, and operational procedures for subsea and platform systems.
</li><li>Knowledge of project planning, risk management, and budget control.
</li><li>Capability to translate technical requirements into practical solutions while meeting project timelines.
</li><li>Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
</li></ul>Tasks:
<ul><li>Lead engineering planning and execution for sealine, umbilical, riser, and flowline systems.
</li><li>Supervise project engineering teams and define organizational structure for optimal staffing.
</li><li>Review technical contract documents and ensure compliance with project requirements.
</li><li>Develop and maintain engineering standards, tools, and staff training programs.
</li><li>Oversee detailed engineering schedules and manage outsourcing arrangements.
</li><li>Facilitate interdisciplinary coordination and resolve technical conflicts between teams.
</li><li>Approve key technical documents and deliverables for accuracy and alignment with project goals.
</li><li>Support project managers in client and licensor interactions for technical matters.
</li><li>Participate in risk assessments, design reviews, and 3D model evaluations.
</li><li>Track and manage engineering budgets, hours, and material estimates.
</li><li>Ensure proper handover of commissioning, operational manuals, and start-up plans.
</li><li>Capture lessons learned and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes.</li></ul></div>
