We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll / AR / AP Specialist to support our accounting and financial operations.Position SummaryThe Payroll / AR / AP Specialist will be responsible for processing payroll, managing accounts receivable and payable functions, and assisting with general accounting duties. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll<ul><li>Process weekly/bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time</li><li>Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations</li><li>Handle employee time tracking, PTO, and payroll adjustments</li><li>Respond to payroll-related inquiries</li></ul>Accounts Receivable (AR)<ul><li>Generate and send invoices</li><li>Apply customer payments and reconcile accounts</li><li>Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts</li><li>Maintain accurate customer records</li></ul>Accounts Payable (AP)<ul><li>Review, code, and enter vendor invoices</li><li>Prepare and process payments (checks, ACH, etc.)</li><li>Reconcile vendor statements</li><li>Maintain organized financial records</li></ul>Additional Duties<ul><li>Assist with month-end closing</li><li>Support audits and financial reporting</li><li>Ensure compliance with hemp industry regulations and company policies</li><li>Perform other administrative or accounting tasks as needed</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>1+ year experience in payroll, AR, AP, or bookkeeping preferred</li><li>Knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks or similar preferred)</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality</li><li>Excellent organizational and communication skills</li><li>Experience in hemp, cannabis, agriculture, or manufacturing industries is a plus</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>$15.00 &ndash; $20.00 per hour (based on experience)</li><li>Opportunities for growth within a rapidly expanding industry</li><li>Supportive team environment</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hourExpected hours: 30 per weekExperience:<ul><li>Accounting: 1 year (Required)</li><li>Accounts payable: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: Remote
