We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Administrative Assistant to provide essential support to our Accounting department.This is an accounting-focused role ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to grow their experience in financial operations. The Accounting Administrative Assistant will support core accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, account reconciliations, and data accuracy within QuickBooks Online. This role also ensures financial information is timely and accurate while supporting Dromen&rsquo;s Financial Management Services (FMS) for individuals navigating California&rsquo;s Self-Determination Program.Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) in QuickBooks Online</li><li>Compare Excel reports/downloads from external portals to QuickBooks Online and resolve</li><li>discrepancies</li><li>Prepare and enter journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy</li><li>Communicate with clients and vendors regarding invoices and payment status</li><li>Maintain organized and accurate financial records</li><li>Assist with reporting and provide updates to management as needed</li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred</li><li>QuickBooks experience</li><li>Accounting support or bookkeeping experience</li><li>Excel experience (data comparison, basic formulas, reporting)</li><li>Experience with account reconciliation and discrepancy resolution</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills</li><li>Ability to handle confidential information with discretion</li><li>Bilingual in Spanish preferred</li></ul>Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hourWork Location: In person
