DSG is seeking a Material Handler (Warehouse Sr. Associate) in our Fargo, ND location. In this full time, hourly position, work typically ranges between the hours of 9:30am to 6:30pm, Monday through Friday, and varies according to business needs. As a Warehouse Senior Associate, you will be responsible for all aspects of warehouse operations, including but not limited to: the receiving of material, loading and unloading of material, moving product using pallet jacks and/or forklifts to staging areas, inventory control, and assisting with wire cutting operations. Warehouse Senior Associates have demonstrated years of experience performing warehouse operations tasks and/or are responsible for specific skilled operations within the warehouse operations.

A Typical Day in the Life of a Warehouse Senior Associate at DSG:<div><ul><li>
Accurately pulls material from location to fill each order.</li><li>
Pack, label, and place filled orders in proper location for delivery.</li><li>
Regular operation of warehouse equipment (forklift, picker, turret, etc., training/certification provided).</li><li>
Ensures a clean, safe working environment: sweeps and mops floors, cleans and dusts shelves, sorts and dumps trash in appropriate bins.</li><li>
Adheres to all safety protocols and procedures at all times.</li><li>
Uses computer and/or RF gun to check on status, availability, and location of product.</li><li>
Maintains proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required.</li><li>
Notifies Branch Manager about shortages or overages in inventory.</li><li>
Work with fellow warehouse associates to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.</li><li>
Loads delivery trucks as needed.</li><li>
Handle calls for warehouse when needed.</li><li>
Assist in Receiving.</li><li>
Performs one or more skilled tasks such as:<ul><li>
Wire measuring/cutting machine - cuts proper wire to proper length, marks tags with new wire amounts and fills racks when needed,</li><li>
Inventory Control &ndash; responsible for daily cycle counting process, processes returns of defective product and special order returns, recording lot numbers, and tracking scrap</li></ul></li><li>
Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul></div>
A Successful Warehouse Senior Associate Typically Has:<div><ul><li>
Previous training and/or certification on material handling equipment (e.g. pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.) is a plus, but not required.</li><li>
Advanced product and warehouse knowledge that would normally be acquired in two or more years of applicable experience.</li><li>
Safety training on material handling and forklift driving.</li><li>
Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.</li><li>
Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs. on a regular basis, and up to 100 lbs. on an occasional basis.</li><li>
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.</li><li>
Ability to work as part of a team.</li><li>
