<p>We are currently hiring for the <b>Huntsville Hospital Health System</b> throughout <b>North Alabama</b>, with opportunities available at the following locations:</p>
<ul><li><b>Huntsville Hospital &ndash; Main Campus</b> | Huntsville, AL</li>
<li><b>Madison Hospital-</b>Madison, AL</li>
<li><b>Decatur Morgan Hospital</b> | Decatur, AL</li>
</ul>
<p><b>This position requires four weeks of paid training. Training includes:</b></p>
<ul><li>MOAB</li>
<li>OC Spray</li>
<li>AXON Taser</li>
<li>IAHSS Certification</li>
<li>Physical training each day</li>
</ul>
<p>Training schedule is Monday through Friday, day shift (varies between 7:00 AM &ndash; 5:00 PM and 6:00 AM &ndash; 6:00 PM). Training pay is $15.00/hour.</p>
<p>After training, you will be assigned a regular 40-hour schedule: Sunday-Wednesday OR Wednesday-Saturday, dayshift 6:00 AM &ndash; 6:00 PM OR nightshift 6:00 PM &ndash; 6:00 AM. Pay after training is $17.75/hour.</p>
<h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Job Responsibilities</b></h2>
<ul><li>Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.</li>
<li>Perform general security duties to protect clients and property.</li>
<li>Promote safety by observing, correcting, and reporting hazards promptly.</li>
<li>Understand and comply with DSI and client requirements, including specific post instructions.</li>
<li>Participate in ongoing training and become familiar with general safety procedures and DSI&rsquo;s safety manual.</li>
<li>Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public.</li>
<li>Perform routine foot patrols and moderate lifting as required.</li>
<li>Work in all weather conditions as needed.</li>
<li>Utilize basic to intermediate computer skills and demonstrate effective written and oral communication.</li>
</ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Requirements</b></h2>
<ul><li>At least 18 years old.</li>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>
<li>Minimum of three months experience in security, military, or law enforcement.</li>
<li>Ability to pass a background check including Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and drug screening.</li>
<li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with reliable transportation and means of communication.</li>
