DSI Tech is seeking a driven and experienced Outside Sales Executive to join our team and lead growth in the Georgia market&mdash;an essential region for our success as one of the nation&rsquo;s top technology solutions providers.
In this role, you will focus on expanding the SLED (State, Local, and Education) market within your territory by identifying and qualifying opportunities, engaging prospective clients, presenting tailored solutions, and managing the full sales cycle from start to finish.
Your efforts will center on Cisco and a range of leading OEMs, including HPE, NetApp, Crestron, Microsoft (Office 365, Azure), VMware, Dell, Palo Alto, and more. The ideal candidate will take a strategic, consultative approach to showcase our unique value proposition, strengthen market presence, and build lasting business relationships through effective negotiation and solution development.
Responsibilities
<ul><li>Sell IT infrastructure solutions to State, Local, and Education (SLED) organizations.
</li><li>Drive new business and grow existing accounts within your territory.
</li><li>Deliver accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market insights.
</li><li>Build strong client relationships through regular visits and product expertise.
</li><li>Target Federal E-rate and SLED opportunities for growth.
</li><li>Collaborate with engineers on pre-sales for Security, Networking, Wireless, Collaboration, and Data Center solutions.
</li><li>Use a strategic, solution-focused approach to showcase DSI Tech&rsquo;s value and close deals.
</li><li>Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
</li><li>Manage your workflow proactively and resolve challenges efficiently.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications / Skills / Knowledge
<ul><li>3 years in an outside sales capacity selling IT solutions for Cisco products or other vendors (NetApp, VMware, Microsoft, HPE, Crestron)
</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics or related field OR an equivalent combination of formal education, training, and directly related progressive job experience
</li><li>Proven experience in SLED (State and Local Government and Education)</li>
<li>Willingness to travel within your assigned territory</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite</li>
<li>Excellent time management, organization skills, and attention to detail
</li><li>Strong communication skills both written and verbal
</li><li>Strong decision-making, problem resolution, and creative thinking abilities
</li><li>Results-driven and detail-oriented
</li><li>Established credibility in interactions with customers and team members
