<li>Experience coordinating domestic shipments, dispatching drivers, and tracking freight through delivery.</li>
<li>Familiarity with transportation systems or dispatch software and strong data entry skills.</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation compliance, or the ability to learn quickly.</li>

Physical Demands</b></p>
<p>
This position is primarily sedentary and requires extended periods of sitting while working at a computer workstation. The role involves frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, data entry, and operating standard office equipment. The employee must be able to communicate effectively, including talking and hearing, to interact with customers, drivers, carriers, and team members via phone, radio, and video conferencing. Occasional standing, walking, bending, or reaching may be required. Vision abilities required include close vision for reviewing data, screens, and documentation.</p><br>

Work Environment</b></p>

This role is performed in a combination of office, dispatch center, terminal, and operations environments within a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting. The work environment includes regular interaction with drivers, dispatch teams, customers, contractors, and partner carriers. The position may involve moderate noise levels due to vehicle traffic, radios, phones, and ongoing operational activity. The role may require occasional presence in or around terminal yards or dock areas, which may involve exposure to varying weather conditions. Flexibility is required to support operational needs, including early mornings, late evenings, weekend coverage, or non-standard hours as business demands dictate.</p><br>
