We are a process driven company that focuses on Schedules, Quality, Budget and Customer Satisfaction.DSW Homes is seeking an experienced, reliable, and results-oriented Purchasing Assistant responsible for auditing purchase order requests, creating purchase orders and assisting the estimating and purchasing team with minor administrative tasks. Candidate should be self-motivated, detail oriented, able to multi-task with advanced problem-solving techniques, proficient in communication skills with timely follow up, uphold high value for customer service relationships and exemplify our core values.Essential process driven functions include, but are not limited to the following:&middot; Purchase Order Management: Create, review, and process purchase orders in the company&rsquo;s procurement system, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.&middot; Vendor Coordination: Communicate with vendors to confirm purchase order details, and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to purchase orders.&middot; Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchase orders, vendor correspondence, and related documentation for auditing and reporting purposes.&middot; Data Entry: Enter and update purchase order information in the company&rsquo;s database, ensuring that all data is accurate and current.&middot; Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues related to purchase orders, such as order discrepancies, returns, or damaged goods.&middot; Collaboration: Work closely with the estimating and purchasing team, project/program managers, and other departments to ensure alignment and smooth operations.&middot; All other duties as assigned.Education and Skill Requirements:<ul><li>High school diploma required.</li><li>Previous experience working with purchase orders in the construction industry a plus</li><li>Bilingual a plus</li><li>1-3 years&rsquo; experience in a professional office setting</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Must be attentive to details and willing to learn.</li><li>Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software.</li></ul>DSW Homes offers a competitive compensation package with employer paid health insurance, paid time off and paid holidays.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without unlawful discrimination based on race, creed, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, marital status, or sexual orientation.
