 The Mechanical Engineering Designer supports engineering programs across multiple business areas by developing machine concepts, creating prototypes, and delivering production-ready mechanical designs. This role manages multiple projects simultaneously, drives results through practical and innovative design solutions, and collaborates closely with Manufacturing Equipment Engineers, plant personnel, construction teams, maintenance teams, and external vendors.

 This position provides the technical expertise, experience, and mechanical design leadership required to develop industrial equipment and machine systems from concept through implementation. Success in this role requires strong teamwork, hands-on problem-solving skills, and the ability to transform mechanical and electromechanical concepts into reliable plant-scale equipment.

  Primary Responsibilities

   Develop mechanical equipment layouts, machine concepts, assemblies, and component designs for industrial applications.
  </li>
  <li>
   Create and refine prototypes, evaluate design alternatives, and support the commercialization and implementation of machine systems.
  </li>
  <li>
   Perform engineering calculations, collect and analyze design data, and apply mechanical engineering principles to develop safe, practical, and effective solutions.
  </li>
  <li>
   Collaborate with engineers, operations, maintenance, construction personnel, and vendors to meet project objectives and business requirements.
  </li>
  <li>
   Support cost estimation activities for machine components, assemblies, fabrication, and equipment development projects.
  </li>
  <li>
   Inspect, measure, troubleshoot, and improve precision machine parts and equipment using sound mechanical judgment and hands-on experience.

   Associate of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
  </li>
  <li>
   8&ndash;10 years of demonstrated experience in machine design and the application of mechanical devices and systems.
  </li>
  <li>
   8&ndash;10 years of experience utilizing Creo design software and Windchill product data management tools.
  </li>
  <li>
   Strong understanding of machine manufacturing, fabrication, assembly processes, and commercially available mechanical components.
  </li>
  <li>
   Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively to develop custom electromechanical equipment when commercial solutions are not available.
  </li>
  <li>
   Ability to perform engineering calculations and technical evaluations required for machine design, equipment assessment, and data collection.
  </li>
  <li>
   Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering, construction, operations, maintenance, and supplier organizations.
  </li>
  <li>
   Demonstrated hands-on mechanical aptitude, including the ability to inspect and measure precision components, troubleshoot equipment issues, and develop practical solutions through experience, intuition, and analytical problem-solving.

 to support the manufacturing facility located Al-Jubail, Saudi Arabia.

 </strong>
 The Raw Material Scheduler works within the inventory management processes to maintain proper and adequate inventory levels to support activities in the production plants served at the lowest overall cost to Dupont. The job requires good organizational and communications skills, Microsoft computer skills, knowledge of SAP/APO, planning and scheduling experience, and a working technical knowledge of the warehouse operation processes.

  Key Responsibilities:

 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   The employee will schedule and purchase raw materials based on forecast and/or actual demand taking into consideration current inventory levels, and transit time.
  </li>
  <li>
   Exception orders will be viewed and managed via SAP, other reporting tools, notification from Production Schedulers and Purchasing. Through use of SAP/APO (or other tools, such as Excel) modify the receiving activities as needed and communicate changes to the manufacturing/logistics organization.
  </li>
  <li>
   Notify and work with the SC Planners/Production Schedulers to ensure there are enough raw materials to run the schedule and not adversely affect the remaining schedule and customer requirements.
  </li>
  <li>
   Monitor Raw Material logistics, resolve conflicts to ensure smooth flow of material into our facilities.
  </li>
  <li>
   Participate in meetings to review the production schedule, to ensure adequate Raw Materials are in inventory to support the production plan.
  </li>
  <li>
   Define the raw material needs and issue regular forecast to suppliers
  </li>
  <li>
   Enter quality complaints and participate in the CAPA requirements for raw material service and quality issues.
  </li>
  <li>
   Contribute data and guidance in annual tenders
  </li>
  <li>
   Participate in Supply Chain design projects
  </li>
  <li>
   Support annual inventory counts.
  </li>
  <li>
   Back-up to the KSA Planner/Scheduler during vacation periods to maintain tactical aspects of the site production schedule.
  </li>
  <li>
   Back-up Regional Customer/Logistics Specialist during times of vacation, duties including issuance of permits/authorizations and representative of Dupont at various ministries.
  </li>

   Qualifications:

   BS degree in Engineering, Science, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  </li>
  <li>
   10 years of relevant work experience
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience with MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience with SAP/APO, Power BI
  </li>
  <li>
   Working knowledge of English
  </li>
  <li>
   Previous purchasing experience is preferred
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience in a chemical plant production facility or maintenance environment is preferred but not required.
