 The Data Analyst will play a crucial role in the planning, execution, communication, and analysis of research projects.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Perform statistical analyses on quantitative and qualitative data using existing data workflows.
 </li>
 <li>
 Expand and improve upon existing research methodologies and analysis.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with other research analysts and litigation strategists.
 </li>
 <li>
 Report research findings and insights to support trial strategy.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Responsibilities are representative and not exhaustive, additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 A master&rsquo;s degree from an accredited university in data science, statistics, or a social science (e.g., Psychology, Economics) with a strong focus on quantitative analyses.
 </li>
 <li>
 1-2 years related work experience centered around cleaning data and conducting inferential statistical analyses.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of statistics and inferential data analysis.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with computational modeling and causal modeling is a plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong attention to detail and accuracy in conducting analyses and reporting research results.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated ability to think critically, identify and solve problems with data, not just follow rote instructions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrable experience and comfort conducting analyses in R or Python, but ideally both.
 </li>
 <li>
 Able to clearly and simply explain statistical analyses and research findings to people with no background in either area.
 </li>
 <li>
 A confident, adaptable team player eager to learn through guidance from research and litigation teams.
 </li>
 <li>
 Capable of meeting strict deadlines and being flexible with working outside regular hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Occasional travel may be required.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Preferences:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Knowledge and application of Bayesian statistics and causal modeling procedures is highly desired.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of psychology of human decision making and the factors that influence it.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience conducting research in legal contexts and jury analysis.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with SQL.
 </li>

 Compensation:
 
 $80,000 - $85,000 plus bonus.
 
 
 
 
 
 The indicated salary range for this position reflects the base pay, which is determined by experience and does not include overtime compensation. DRC provides compensation for overtime in alignment with state regulations.
