Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Automotive Shop Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently assigning work to technicians, ensuring optimal workflow in the shop, and maintaining clear communication between service advisors, technicians, and customers. This role is critical to maximizing shop productivity, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and ensuring timely completion of vehicle repairs and services.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assign repair orders to technicians based on skill level, efficiency, and availability</li><li>Monitor shop workflow and technician productivity to maintain an even, efficient workload</li><li>Communicate effectively with Service Advisors, Technicians, and the Parts Department</li><li>Review repair orders for accuracy, completeness, and proper MPI/video documentation</li><li>Track vehicle status and provide updates to advisors on progress or delays</li><li>Assist with quality control and time management on shop repairs</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized dispatch area</li><li>Support leadership in achieving departmental goals for productivity, CSI, and efficiency</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Prior technician experience or extensive automotive repair knowledge is required</li><li>Proven ability to manage shop workflow and prioritize repairs</li><li>Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills</li><li>Knowledge of warranty procedures and repair order documentation</li><li>Familiarity with Reynolds preferred</li><li>Positive attitude, team-player mindset, and attention to detail</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>Competitive pay based on experience</li><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li><li>Career growth opportunities within company</li><li>Supportive management and a family-like team atmosphere</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>9-hour shift</li><li>Full-time</li><li>Day shift</li><li>Workdays: Monday to Friday with rotating Saturday</li></ul>Join us in delivering top-tier automotive care by coordinating our talented team of technicians!
