Role and Responsibilities:</h4><ul><li>
Develop robust, scalable backend systems using Java (11&ndash;17+), with a strong focus on Vert.x and reactive programming paradigms.<ul><li>
Using Spring Boot, AWS managed Kubernetes (AWS Kubernetes Service) and Helm Charts, and microservice architectures.</li></ul></li><li>
Design and manage APIs using OpenAPI (YAML), SOAP, REST, and GraphQL.</li><li>
Integrate seamlessly with front-end technologies such as ReactJS, VueJS, Angular, and TypeScript.</li><li>
Implement event-driven and microservices-based architectures, including serverless functions where appropriate.</li><li>
Build scalable data solutions using JPA, Hibernate, MongoDB, NoSQL, and RDBMS (AWS/Azure).</li><li>
Drive CI/CD pipeline implementation, performance tuning, and system monitoring using industry-standard tools.</li><li>
Champion clean code practices and Agile methodologies across development teams.</li></ul>
Technical Knowledge<ul><li>
Core Java &amp; Frameworks: Proficient in Oracle/OpenJDK, Jakarta EE, MicroProfile, Micronaut, and the Spring ecosystem (Core, MVC, Boot, Data, Streams, Cloud, Security).</li><li>
Reactive Programming: Deep experience with Vert.x and building non-blocking, asynchronous systems.</li><li>
API Development: Skilled in designing and managing APIs using OpenAPI, REST, and GraphQL.</li><li>
Backend Technologies: Experience with Apache Kafka, JMS, JTA, AMQP, and enterprise web services.</li><li>
Architecture Patterns: Strong grasp of event-driven, microservices, and monolithic architectures; familiarity with serverless (FaaS) models.</li><li>
Data Solutions: Expertise in JPA, Hibernate, MongoDB, NoSQL, and cloud/on-prem RDBMS.</li><li>
Cloud &amp; Containerisation: Proficient in AWS, Docker, and AWS managed Kubernetes (AWS Kubernetes Service) and Helm Charts
for scalable deployments.</li><li>
Testing &amp; Automation: Hands-on with JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber for test automation.</li><li>
Source Control &amp; CI/CD: Experienced with GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab, and CI/CD best practices.</li></ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader">
Required Experience:</h4><ul><li>
10+ years of professional experience in Java development (Java 11&ndash;17+).</li><li>
4+ years of experience with Spring Boot.</li><li>
2+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).</li><li>
Proven expertise in Vert.x and reactive programming (non-negotiable).</li><li>
Strong understanding of CI/CD, performance tuning, and monitoring tools.</li><li>
Demonstrated success working in Agile teams and promoting clean coding standards.</li></ul>
