<div></div><div><div>DWM Holdings is seeking a motivated and reliable person to join our growing team as a Project Manager (PM). The PM reports to the Managing Project Manager. They work closely with our customers to align their project&rsquo;s needs with our products, engineer any necessary product adaptations, and serve as an internal point of contact for the lifecycle (quotation through shipment) of a business opportunity.</div>
<div></div><div>This is a high visibility position with significant growth potential. DWM&rsquo;s ideal PM enjoys problem solving, functions well in ambiguity, and welcomes opportunities to lead strategic initiatives or own essential business processes.</div>
<div></div><div><b>Responsibilities</b></div>
<ul><li>Assisting customers in selecting products and/or engineering product adaptations that satisfy technical specifications.</li>
<li>Quoting products and projects in a manner that satisfies profitability targets.</li>
<li>Collaborating with third party engineers and internal experts to 1) validate the structural integrity of products and product adaptations and 2) prepare submittal drawings and cutsheets for customer approval.</li>
<li>Managing business opportunities throughout their entire lifecycle, from entering the purchase order through shipping finished goods; Serving as the point of contact for information about a business opportunity.</li>
<li>Coordinating internal resources to promptly resolve product issues; Communicating issue resolutions to customers.</li>
<li>Identifying opportunities to improve business processes; Developing and leading the implementation of strategic initiatives within the project management team or throughout the company as business need and capacity allow.</li>
</ul><div><b>Requirements</b></div>
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree. Preferred majors include Engineering and Business Management.</li>
<li>An ability to handle multiple, complex priorities and balance the needs of each according to business impact.</li>
</ul><ul><li>A high level of interpersonal skills, including the ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations.</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills; an ability to clearly communicate technical information to various audiences.</li>
<li>Available on-site work; DWM is located in Warren, MI.</li>
</ul><div><b>Preferred</b></div>
<ul><li>Experience working with PLEX, or a similar ERP, and the Microsoft Office suite of products.</li>
<li>Customer service experience.</li>
<li>Applies a willingness to learn and adapt to changes and evolving situations.</li></ul></div></div><div></div>

Project Manager

<div><b>Job Description</b></div>
<div></div><div><div>The Logistics Coordinator reports directly to the CEO and works closely with Project Management and Production departments. General responsibilities include planning and coordinating the routing schedules of each delivery for commercial and industrial light poles, brackets, and accessories.</div>
<div></div><div><b>Responsibilities:</b></div>
<ul><li>Assign each customer order to the proper time delivery window, geographical route and freight carrier</li></ul>
<ul><li>Incorporate customer delivery demands in terms of unloading and delivery time into the routing schedule, including load scheduling for multi-drop deliveries</li></ul>
<ul><li>Plan the delivery routes to be taken by each driver in an effort to most effectively and efficiently utilize the fleet and reduce expenses related to the cost of delivery</li></ul>
<ul><li>Research and maintain the most cost-effective procedures and systems that can be applied to all areas of the logistics function; this includes continuously negotiating transportation pricing</li></ul>
<ul><li>Prepare required documentation for flatbed freight shipments; such as, bills of ladings and packing lists</li></ul>
<ul><li>Create, maintain, and enter shipping information into E2; close jobs in company database</li></ul>
<ul><li>Drive, identify, and communicate corrective actions, deviations, lean processes, and payment of freight invoices</li></ul>
<ul><li>Serve as a liaison for answering all questions about shipments, rectify problems, and provide status updates to internal departments as needed</li></ul>
<ul><li>Manage day-to-day deviations that require critical thinking for quick resolutions</li></ul>
<ul><li>Effectively communicate with the Sales, Partner Service and Production departments regarding deliveries, special requests, and other issues</li></ul>
<ul><li>Make recommendations to the Logistics Manager for process improvement</li></ul>
<ul><li>Organize and manage the upload of documents and pictures for each processed order</li></ul>
<ul><li>Scan driver surveys and save to company database.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Develop working knowledge of daily freight and small package shipment process through departmental cross-training</li></ul>
<div></div><div><b>Requirements:</b></div>
<ul><li>1-5 years of related logistics experience</li></ul>
<ul><li>Excellent geographical knowledge and a strong background in logistics or transportation</li></ul>
<ul><li>Proven financial acumen</li></ul>
<ul><li>Demonstrate a high level of accuracy, quality, and attention to detail</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ability to adapt and prioritize changing assignments or multiple priorities and tasks</li></ul>
<ul><li>Capable of managing the pressures and stress associated with a deadline-oriented atmosphere and customer service or production issues</li></ul>
<ul><li>Must possess positive interpersonal skills, including the ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations</li></ul>
<ul><li>Have strong problem-solving and team work skills</li></ul>
<ul><li>Be able to identify and manage process improvement</li></ul>
<ul><li>Proficient in Microsoft applications with a willingness and ability to learn new software programs</li></ul>
