Requires strong mechanical problem-solving skills and an aptitude for developing quality engineering solutions. The position requires a dynamic and multifunction individual who is knowledgeable of full-cycle engineering/manufacturing processes. He/she will work together in a team, engineering the products and be the overall liaison between the in-house manufacturing team. This person should have general engineering expertise and be open to collaborate in a team environment.Requirements:<ul><li>Master&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent</li><li>Strong analytical skills</li><li>2-7 years of related work experience</li><li>Proficient in SolidWorks</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Precision engineering and manufacturing experience</li><li>Solid understanding of vacuum components, material properties and machine design</li><li>Thermal analysis experience</li><li>Structural analysis experience</li><li>Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) preferably with ANSYS software experience</li><li>CFD analysis experience (ANSYS Fluent preferred)</li><li>Manufacturing experience and knowledge of CAM tools</li><li>Skilled in documenting activities and maintaining records</li><li>Good understanding of standards and geometric tolerancing</li><li>Ability to manage time, resources and vendors</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills, including technical report writing</li></ul>Personal Attributes:<ul><li>Detail oriented, creative and self-motivated</li><li>Capable of working independently in a small and innovative company environment</li><li>Good communication and team working skills</li><li>Comfortable working in a rapid pace environment, and handling multiple projects, simultaneously</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $85,000.00 - $135,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
