About the Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable, student‑focused nursing professional to provide high‑quality Career Technical Training (CTT) in the Nursing Assistant program. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about teaching, clinical skill development, youth training, and preparing students for entry‑level healthcare careers.
This position is well‑suited for individuals with experience in:<ul><li>Nursing instruction or healthcare education</li><li>Clinical skills training or CNA program delivery</li><li>Curriculum development or lesson planning</li><li>Youth development or coaching in educational settings</li><li>Classroom management and instructional support</li><li>Healthcare environments such as long‑term care, hospitals, or community settings</li></ul>
You will work closely with Academic, CTT, Residential, and Counseling staff to support student success through effective instruction, behavior modeling, and development of hands‑on industry skills. Your work directly impacts students&rsquo; readiness for certification, employment, and long‑term healthcare careers.
This is an on‑site instructional role requiring strong communication, organization, patience, and the ability to tailor coursework to the needs of diverse learners.
What You&rsquo;ll Do
Instruction, Curriculum &amp; Student Learning<ul><li>Plan and conduct daily classes aligned with nursing assistant curriculum requirements.</li><li>Evaluate instructional methods and modify approaches to ensure positive learning outcomes.</li><li>Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and recommend curriculum improvements.</li><li>Deliver CNA coursework in accordance with Job Corps standards and state expectations.</li><li>Provide tutoring, academic assistance, and career counseling as needed.</li></ul>
Student Support, Culture &amp; Collaboration<ul><li>Participate in Evaluation of Student Progress (ESP) panels and motivate students regarding academics, behavior, and employability.</li><li>Collaborate with Residential Advisors and Counselors to support student success and resolve training‑related issues.</li><li>Model and reinforce positive behaviors aligned with Career Success Standards (CSS).</li><li>Serve on Workforce Council and contribute to center activities that support student growth.</li></ul>
Program Development, Compliance &amp; Training Operations<ul><li>Maintain accurate attendance, progress, and performance records.</li><li>Document case notes in the Center Information System (CIS) monthly or as needed.</li><li>Develop Work‑Based Learning (WBL) opportunities and support job development in the healthcare field.</li><li>Participate in staff development training and share new instructional strategies with peers.</li><li>Ensure proper use of classroom equipment and recommend purchases when needed.</li><li>Comply with all safety and health regulations in classroom and skills‑lab environments.</li></ul>
Accountability, Ethics &amp; Center Support<ul><li>Act as a responsible custodian of assigned center property.</li><li>Report violations of ethical behavior and uphold positive center culture.</li><li>Recommend improvements to enhance instructional quality and operational efficiency.</li><li>Identify and report environmental, health, and safety concerns.</li></ul>
Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in nursing.</li><li>Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of employment.</li><li>Minimum two years of nursing or teaching experience; youth experience preferred.</li><li>Ability to design and deliver nursing coursework that aligns with certification requirements.</li><li>Ability to tailor instruction to diverse learning styles and student career goals.</li><li>Strong skills in coaching, behavioral intervention, and student support.</li><li>Ability to model CSS‑aligned behavior and mentor students effectively.</li><li>Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.</li><li>Computer proficiency and attention to detail.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and adequate insurance coverage.</li></ul>

Purpose: Performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties in compliance with government and management directives.
Your Responsibilities:
Complies with all management, corporate, and government directives and standard operating procedures.
Models, mentors, and monitors a positive normative culture.
Handles routine matters personally and routes non-routine business to proper staff for consideration.
Maintains the monthly calendar of activities and appointments.
Acts as the centralized point of contact for new Job Corps prospects.
Schedules prospects to attend information sessions.
Provides information packets to interested prospects, parents, and community.
Acts as the liaison between contract management and other staff.
Maintains the correspondence control log, receives incoming and outgoing mail, and provides follow up on dates for action items.
Performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties; prepares special reports; maintains files, records, and statistical data; makes travel arrangements, etc., as required.
Performs secretarial duties, including data entry, dictation, and typing of correspondence and other materials.
Maintains appropriate stock of office supplies. Maintains a filing system for all program manuals, directives, DESI procedures, and other program documents.
Maintains accountability of staff, properly adheres to safety practices, and performs safety inspections in areas of responsibility 
Requirements
Education: High school diploma or GED
Experience: Two years of related secretarial experience
