<div><div>One of the most trusted and leading tier-1 automotive manufacturers in the United States has created an opening for a hands-on CNC Set-Up Technician/Operator with an experienced level manufacturing technical skill to work in day to day production at one of Dynamic&rsquo;s remanufacturing facilities.
The ideal CNC Set-up Technician/Operator will have an understanding of working in a manufacturing environment, exhibit a technical aptitude, preferably experience with deep hole drilling and assist in the production operations of the machine shop. They should be able to lift enough weight (20-50 lbs.) to perform his/her job.

Core Responsibilities<ul><li>
Select the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to be used in preparation of machinery work.</li><li>
Set up, adjust, and operate all the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations.</li><li>
Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.</li><li>
Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers, height stands, calipers, etc.</li><li>
Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines.</li><li>
Measure, examine, and test completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometers.</li><li>
Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.</li><li>
Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, and engineering information to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products and determine product dimensions and tolerances.</li><li>
Observe and listen to operating machines or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions and to determine need for adjustments or repairs.</li><li>
Check work pieces to ensure that they are properly lubricated and cooled.</li><li>
Position and fasten work pieces.</li><li>
Operate equipment to verify operational efficiency.</li><li>
Clean and lubricate machines, tools, and equipment to remove grease, rust, stains, and foreign matter.</li><li>
Advise clients about the materials being used for finished products.</li><li>
Confer with engineering, supervisory, and manufacturing personnel to exchange technical information.</li><li>
Work closely with Engineering and or cutting tool suppliers to continuously improve tool life.</li><li>
Design and create basic fixtures and tooling</li><li>
Deep hole drilling experience</li><li>
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn quickly.</li><li>
Commitment to continuous improvement through self-education and company sponsored training.</li><li>
Follow instructions when given a project and take notes for personal growth.</li><li>
Willingness to enroll in a Tech/Trade School to expand upon Basic CNC</li><li>
Recognizing there is a problem with operation/machine</li><li>
Operate one or more CNC machines daily while maintaining all quality and safety requirements.</li><li>
Job description is not all inclusive and the employee will also perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned</li><li>
Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized</li><li>
Assist team leader</li><li>
Record production daily</li><li>
Identify and isolate non-conforming product</li><li>
Properly and safely Load / Unload Machine</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
3+ years of Machining and or Manufacturing experience</li><li>
Basic Blueprint reading</li><li>
Programming Skills not limited to basic machine shop courses.</li><li>
Capable of lifting/pushing/pulling up to 30 pounds</li><li>
Ability to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms 8 hours or more</li><li>
Willing and able to work overtime and as required</li><li>
Willing to work any shift as necessary</li><li>
Communicate and understand work instructions both verbally and written in English</li><li>
Strong work ethic / Positive attitude / Self-motivated</li></ul>
