<div>Hours Monday-Thursday 4 pm - 2 am
OBJECTIVE/JOB PURPOSE: TIG Welders are experts who use tungsten inert gas welding to fuse metal parts together
This position is more advanced and requires TIG welding experience.
Role and Responsibilities<ul><li>
Join thin metals of varying compositions by operating specialized hand and power tools</li><li>
Operate tools such as arc welders, grinders, and buffing machines</li><li>
Responsible for selecting an installing torch tips, filler rods, and flux according to the thickness of metal materials</li><li>
Regulate gas flow and pressure by turning gas cylinder gauges or valves</li></ul>
Qualifications and Education Requirements<ul><li>
2-3 years on the job training, or vocational school</li><li>
Experience TIG welding aluminum, mild steel and stainless steel</li><li>
Ability to read blueprints, basic math, metallurgy and a basic understanding of electricity</li><li>
Able to pass stringent weld test</li></ul>
Preferred Skills<ul><li>
Attention to detail and comprehension of blueprints</li><li>
Able to assist others, assist in training new employees, set up equipment and troubleshoot</li></ul>
