About the Role:</b></h2><p>
Provide financial support to Dyson&rsquo;s US logistics and supply chain operations:</p><ul><li><p>
Key finance business partner for US logistics functions.</p></li><li><p>
Collaborate with supply chain, operations, and planning teams to develop cost forecasts, logistics budgets, and operational plans.</p></li><li><p>
Prepare, analyze, and communicate logistics cost reports, including commentary and insights for the leadership team.</p></li><li><p>
Lead or support monthly close processes related to supply chain: costing of shipments, inventory valuation, and freight expense allocation.</p></li><li><p>
Monitor and report on key logistics KPIs (inventory turns, transportation spend, warehousing cost per unit).</p></li><li><p>
Work with logistics and supply chain teams to evaluate new projects and model their financial impact.</p></li><li><p>
Support implementation and continuous improvement of planning tools, systems, and financial processes for logistics.</p></li></ul><p>
Manage Logistics Budgeting &amp; Forecasting</p><ul><li><p>
Own the development of logistics and supply chain budgets and regular re-forecasting.</p></li><li><p>
Support partners and Sr. Finance Manager with various adhoc analysis</p></li><li><p>
Analyze logistics plans to ensure efficiency and alignment with corporate cost objectives.</p></li><li><p>
High level of accuracy in understanding logistics costs in the P&amp;L and ensuring alignment with reporting.</p></li></ul><p>
Analyze Initiatives &amp; Cost Investments</p><ul><li><p>
Partner with operations and supply chain teams to evaluate ROI and efficiency of logistics investments.</p></li><li><p>
Prepare financial analyses of outsourcing vs. insourcing, network optimization, and major projects.</p></li><li><p>
Provide recommendations and secure approval for significant logistics investments.</p></li><li><p>
Ensure forecasts and accruals for logistics costs are accurate and timely.</p></li><li><p>
Deliver detailed variance analysis vs. expectation and explain drivers to management.</p></li><li><p>
Own post-implementation review of logistics initiatives for continuous improvement.</p></li></ul><p>
Special Projects and Ad Hoc Analysis</p><ul><li><p>
Identify and investigate logistics cost drivers and opportunities for savings.</p></li><li><p>
Develop robust financial models to help manage the complexity of the US logistics and supply chain environment.</p></li><li><p>
Tackle new projects or responsibilities as required, aligned to the purpose of the role.</p></li><li><p>
Champion process improvement and bring a continuous improvement mindset.</p></li><li><p>

About You</b></h2><ul><li><p>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain/Logistics, or related field.</p></li><li><p>
4+ years in a Financial Analyst role, preferably with logistics, supply chain, or operations finance experience.</p></li><li><p>
Strong attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy.</p></li><li><p>
Track record of handling complex budgeting and forecasting challenges.</p></li><li><p>
Experience partnering with operational teams and influencing business decisions with financial insight.</p></li><li><p>
Advanced proficiency with Excel and strong competence in the Microsoft Office Suite.</p></li><li><p>
Demonstrated ability to prepare, analyze, and present financial data clearly.</p></li><li><p>
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.</p></li><li><p>
Able to collaborate and challenge senior leaders with confidence.</p></li><li><p>
