E-Box

E-Box is a growing medium size manufacturing business located in Alabaster, AL shipping product to all 50 states. We are looking for a junior controller to learn and grow under veteran leadership. This individual will be groomed to take the place of our current Controller, who will retire in less than 10 years.Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation and analysis of timely financial statements and reports.- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.- Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts, including but not limited to cash, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets.- Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and provide insights for decision-making.-Support and ultimately manage quarterly inventory counts and reconciliation.- Assist in the implementation and improvement of internal controls and financial procedures.- Prepare and review journal entries to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.- Support the preparation for audits and work with external auditors as needed.- Contribute to financial analysis and variance reporting to identify areas for improvement.- Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance.-Assists with daily and monthly cash and bank reconciliations as required.-Assists with periodic billing and assists in collection of Accounts Receivable as required.-Assists with Accounts Payable to ensure liabilities are paid in a timely manner and properly recognized in the appropriate accounting period.-Assists Controller in providing financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in accounting.-Audit work experience in manufacturing.- 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial reporting.- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, ERP financial software and database report writing.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Job Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>What are your salary expectations?</li><li>This is an onsite position in Alabaster, Alabama.
