Reporting to: Operations Manager 
 
Position Description: 
E-J&rsquo;s Estimators are crucial in the pre-construction phase, providing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical projects across various industries. Your expertise in estimating and pricing will help drive successful project bids, ensuring the company&rsquo;s continued growth and success in the market. 
 
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):<ul><li>
Review and analyze project plans, specifications (including drawings and schedules), and other relevant documents to gain a comprehensive understanding of the project's scope and requirements</li><li>
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for projects, encompassing labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor services, and other associated expenses</li><li>
Utilize industry-standard software and tools (McCormick, BLUEBEAM) to generate estimates, ensuring precision and consistency in the estimation process</li><li>
Account for factors such as market conditions, labor rates, and material costs</li><li>
Collaborate with the bid team to develop comprehensive bid proposals, ensuring compliance with client requirements and specifications</li><li>
Participate in bid meetings and presentations, providing insights into the estimation process and the rationale behind pricing decisions</li><li>
Solicit and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing for materials and services</li><li>
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and information</li><li>
Prepare regular reports and summaries on cost tracking and estimating accuracy</li><li>
Collaborate with the Engineering and Project Management Teams to clarify any ambiguities and gather necessary information for accurate estimation</li><li>
Share insights and best practices with the team to enhance overall estimating capabilities</li></ul>
Preferred Experience:<ul><li>
Familiar with estimating renewable energy projects (BESS, Solar, etc.) as both electrical subcontractor and EPC</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in electrical estimating</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or a related field/equivalent experience is preferred</li><li>
Proficient in the Microsoft Suite</li><li>
Proven experience as an electrical estimator in the construction industry, preferably with expertise in electrical systems and installations</li><li>
Strong knowledge of electrical construction practices, materials, and methodologies</li><li>
Familiarity with industry-standard estimating software and tools (McCormack, Bluebeam)</li><li>
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with keen attention to detail</li><li>
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with internal teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors</li><li>

Position Summary: 
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee and coordinate projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with E-J's safety regulations and quality standards. Responsibilities include planning, monitoring progress, and providing updates to stakeholders, clients, and team members. As a Project Manager at E-J, you will collaborate with diverse teams, communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and vendors, and play a key role in delivering successful electrical projects for our valued clients.

Create and manage project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely project completion</li><li>
