Datacenter Operations Technician &ndash; Join Our Dynamic Tech Team!Are you someone who enjoys working hands-on with servers, cables, and network gear in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for a Datacenter Operations Technician with solid experience to join our 24x7 infrastructure operations team. You will play a key role in keeping our Datacenter humming smoothly&mdash;from racking and cabling to troubleshooting and vendor coordination.This role is for someone who has prior hands-on experience in an Enterprise Datacenter environment and enjoys being on the front lines of technology operations.What You'll Be DoingDay-to-Day Operations<ul><li>Install and set up of servers, switches, routers, and other hardware devices.</li><li>Perform cable patching and labelling activities as per the Datacenter standards.</li><li>Keep detailed records of tasks in the ticketing system and inventory system.</li><li>Configure basic network interfaces (e.g., KVM, DRAC/ILO).</li></ul>Troubleshooting &amp; Support<ul><li>Resolve network-related issues and perform cable swaps (Ethernet/Fiber).</li><li>Check device power and LED alarm indicators and perform troubleshooting activities.</li><li>Troubleshooting of copper and fiber optic cabling infrastructure.</li><li>Execute reboots and perform initial diagnostics as per the defined process/procedures.</li><li>Support incident and problem management as part of a global 24x7 support team.</li></ul>Racking, Inventory &amp; Vendor Handling<ul><li>Rack/de-rack hardware and handle decommissioning tasks.</li><li>Maintain accurate inventory of cables (MM, SM, copper).</li><li>Escort and coordinate with external vendors as needed.</li></ul>What You Bring<ul><li>2+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise Datacenter operations or support role.</li><li>Working knowledge of servers, switches, routers, and structured cabling.</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Effective communication skills and ability to work effectively with internal teams and external vendors.</li><li>Comfortable working in night and rotational shifts.</li><li>Certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, or other IT infrastructure) are a plus.</li></ul>Why Join Us?<ul><li>Be part of a collaborative and supportive tech team.</li><li>Exposure to enterprise-level infrastructure and global operations.</li><li>Opportunities to grow into lead roles or cross-train in advanced areas like network architecture.</li></ul>Location: [Twinsburg, OH]Schedule: 24x7 Shifts Job Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
