We are looking to hire several new team members for long-term projects in Omaha, Lincoln, and Columbus, NE. We are offering up to $38/hour for journeymen, plus benefits. 
Responsibilities include:<ul><li>
Layout and install drywall beads.</li><li>
Prepare all drywall surfaces to receive drywall finish products.</li><li>
Mix, carry and apply joint compound to drywall finishes.</li><li>
Tape, coat, finish and sand joint compound ready for decoration.</li><li>
Hand or machine texture walls or ceiling per plans and specifications.</li><li>
Clean up, protect, move material, tools &amp; equipment.</li><li>
Erect and dismantle scaffolds.</li><li>
Conform to all safety rules and regulations of the Company and OSHA standards.</li><li>
Calculate unit costs based on quantity of material installed, hours worked and labor dollars.</li><li>
Arrive to work on time at various locations.</li><li>
Attend and participate in all required company training programs.</li><li>
Conform to all company policies and procedures.</li><li>
Other duties as assigned.</li></ul> 
Requirements include:<ul><li>
The ability and willingness to learn company safety policies and applicable OSHA standards.</li><li>
Knowledge and ability to use tools, materials, and equipment necessary for completing finish carpentry projects.</li><li>
Knowledge of basic mathematics, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.</li><li>
Ability to read (blueprints) plans and specifications.</li><li>
Ability to accurately measure materials.Ability to follow directions.</li><li>
Ability to work on ladders, scaffolds, and stilts.</li><li>
Ability and willingness to work in a team environment, with frequent one-on-one and group activity.</li><li>
Lifting over 100 lbs. occasionally (doors or studs).</li><li>
Lifting 50-60 lbs. frequently. Approximately 6-8 times per hour.</li><li>
Lifting, pushing, pulling 15 lbs. on a regular and constant basis, 2-3 hours per day.</li><li>
Reaching above shoulder and at shoulder height with the weight of wood studs, metal studs, and various tools on a regular basis.</li><li>
Stooping and bending to cut wood and metal studs with knife and chop saw.</li><li>
Standing and walking for 8 hours per day.</li><li>
Climbing scaffold as high as 3-4 stories, possibly higher, 4-8 times per day when jobs are above ground level.</li><li>
Full use of fingers and both hands required for this manually dexterous position.</li><li>
Simultaneous mental alertness and muscular coordination.</li><li>
Must have vision correctable to at least 20/40 in order to use tools and perform tasks associated with the job.</li></ul>

Taper/Finisher (Lincoln)

We are looking to hire several new team members for a long-term project in Lincoln, NE. We are offering up to $38/hour for journeyman, plus benefits. 
Responsibilities include:<ul><li>
Install hanger wire, grid, and other suspension systems for tile and other materials.</li><li>
Measure and cut tile for installation.</li><li>
May include cleanup, scrapping, moving material, tools, or equipment.</li><li>
Erect and dismantle scaffolds.</li><li>
Calculate unit costs based on quantity of material installed, hours worked, and labor dollars.</li><li>
Attend and participate in all required company training programs.</li><li>
Conform to all company policies and procedures.</li><li>
Other duties as assigned.</li></ul> 
Requirements include:<ul><li>
Lifting up to 65 lbs. (ceiling tile box 65 lbs., grid box 40 lbs.)</li><li>
Lifting 5 to 10 lbs. above head on a regular constant basis. Approximately 10-12 times per hour (ceiling tile).</li><li>
Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 15 lbs. on a regular and constant basis, 6-7 hours per day.</li><li>
Lifting and carrying boxes of tile and grid on an occasional basis, 1-2 hours a day.</li><li>
Reaching above shoulder and at shoulder height with the weight of ceiling tile and various tools (10-15 lbs.) on a regular and constant basis.</li><li>
Dexterous use of fingers and both hands, mental alertness and muscular coordination simultaneously.</li><li>
Standing or walking for 8 hours a day.</li><li>
Climbing scaffold 10 feet or higher, 4-8 times per day. Either scaffold or stilts can be used on ceiling tile jobs.</li><li>
Must have vision correctable to at least 20/40 in order to use tools and perform tasks associated with the job.</li></ul>
