Position Overview E-Opala Electrical Recycling is seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring excellent customer service while managing the collection and processing of electronic waste and materials. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, reliable, and capable of managing inventory effectively to optimize warehouse operations. Join us in our mission to protect the planet and make a positive impact through cutting-edge technology and eco-friendly practices.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide exceptional customer service when receiving donations and materials from clients and visitors.</li><li>Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding E-Opala&rsquo;s e-waste recycling services and solutions.</li><li>Efficiently receive, label, sort, categorize, and process e-waste donations and materials.</li><li>Use the company database for accurate inventory tracking and reporting.</li><li>Monitor and manage donations and inventory to ensure proper record-keeping.</li><li>Conduct regular inventory audits to address discrepancies.</li><li>Implement warehouse management systems to enhance operational efficiency.</li><li>Organize warehouse storage to optimize space, including operating a pallet jack as needed (training provided).</li><li>Assist in the coordination of outbound shipments (domestic and international).</li><li>Ensure proper handling, placement, and disposal of electronic materials when necessary.</li><li>Be a collaborative team member, assisting with various warehouse tasks as needed.</li><li>Work closely with staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations across departments.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or logistics preferred.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.</li><li>Familiarity with inventory tracking and warehouse management systems is a plus.</li><li>Ability to lift and move materials (up to 30+ lbs).</li><li>Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to be trained).</li><li>Effective communication and teamwork skills.</li><li>Commitment to environmental sustainability and responsible recycling.</li></ul>Working Conditions<ul><li>Job Type: Full-time</li><li>Days: Friday - Tuesday or Thursday - Monday</li><li>Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour</li><li>Expected hours: 40 per week</li><li>Work will primarily be in our warehouse with exposure to varying weather conditions.</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Health insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision)</li><li>On-the-job training</li></ul>At E-Opala Electrical Recycling, you&rsquo;ll be part of a mission-driven team dedicated to keeping Hawai&lsquo;i green and e-waste-free.
