Position Overview:</p><p>
We are currently seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dynamic team at E-Therapy. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing occupational therapy services to students in PreK-12 schools, supporting their participation in meaningful activities and promoting independence in daily life skills.</p>
Responsibilities:
<p>
Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>
Assist in conducting assessments of students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, and activities of daily living.</li><li>
Implement individualized occupational therapy interventions and treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT).</li><li>
Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in groups, targeting areas such as handwriting, motor coordination, self-care skills, and sensory regulation.</li><li>
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to integrate therapy goals into students' educational plans and classroom activities.</li><li>
Monitor students' progress and document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information accurately and in a timely manner.</li><li>
Assist in the selection and fabrication of adaptive equipment and assistive technology to support students' participation and independence.</li><li>
Support the OT in educating school staff, parents, and caregivers on strategies and techniques to promote students' occupational performance and functional skills.</li><li>
Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and provide input regarding students' occupational therapy needs.</li></ul>
Qualifications:

Qualifications:</p><ul><li>
Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) from an accredited program.</li><li>
Valid state licensure or certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).</li><li>
Previous experience working as a COTA in a pediatric or school setting.</li><li>
Knowledge of occupational therapy principles, theories, and interventions relevant to children and adolescents.</li><li>
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, school staff, and related service providers.</li><li>
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.</li><li>
Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping.</li><li>
Experience in schools.</li></ul><div><b>
