Position Overview:</p><p>
We are currently seeking a Special Education Teacher to join our dynamic team at E-Therapy. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities, collaborating with school staff and families to ensure academic success and personal growth.</p>
Responsibilities:
<p>
Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities, based on thorough assessments and collaboration with parents, school staff, and related service providers.</li><li>
Provide specialized instruction in core academic subjects and functional skills, adapting curriculum materials and teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.</li><li>
Use evidence-based teaching practices and assistive technologies to facilitate student learning and achievement.</li><li>
Monitor and assess students' progress towards IEP goals, adjusting instructional strategies and interventions as needed.</li><li>
Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to promote inclusive practices and provide accommodations and modifications for students in the general education setting.</li><li>
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress, IEP meetings, and communication with parents and other stakeholders.</li><li>
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP meetings and student support team meetings, to develop and review student progress and interventions.</li><li>
Provide support and guidance to paraprofessionals and other support staff working with students with disabilities.</li></ul>
Qualifications:

Qualifications:</p><ul><li>
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.</li><li>
Valid state teaching license or certification in Special Education.</li><li>
Previous experience teaching students with disabilities in a school setting.</li><li>
Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Special Education Teacher in state in which they live (and in which they are teaching if remote)</li><li>
Passionate about working with students in an on-site setting to help them achieve their educational goals</li><li>
Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.</li><li>
Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and behavior management techniques.</li><li>
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, school staff, and related service providers.</li><li>
Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping.</li></ul><p>
