ABOUT THE POSITION</b></div><div>
Manufacturing schedulers perform various functions in making sure that production processes in a manufacturing company are properly organized/scheduled at all times, so as to reduce production costs, efficient utilization of available raw materials, and deliver products to customers on time, in full.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Responsible for the development, and coordination of production schedules on a daily, weekly, monthly basis to meet customer demand. Manage/modify Work Orders, based upon changing conditions within the manufacturing pipeline.</li><li>
Review system demands; identify and report plant capacity constraints.</li><li>
Work with manager to develop potential solutions to improve production performance.</li><li>
Analyze and address production issues in a timely fashion</li><li>
Directly engage with Material Planning to ensure proper balance between production demand, and material supply.</li><li>
Directly engage with production, and inventory personnel to ensure inventory accuracy.</li><li>
Work closely with contracts group to ensure proper management of system demands.</li><li>
Analyze data, make reports, work in cross functional improvement teams, and utilize expertise to make decisions.</li><li>
Additionally, the production scheduler will work with manager to identify opportunities to improve the manufacturing or production process through more effective schedule management.</li><li>
Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>U.S. Persons.</li><li>
A Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.</li><li>
A minimum of 2 years working experience in a Scheduling, Supply Chain role.</li><li>
Excellent communication skills.</li><li>
Must possess good interpersonal skills, and work well as a cross functional team.</li><li>
Must have good coordination and organizational abilities. This is needed in a bid to always deliver products on time to customers.</li><li>
Must display a high level of good leadership qualities.</li><li>
Must have good time management abilities.</li><li>
Must understand the basics of customer care.</li><li>
Willingness to work as part of a team or even lead a team when called upon.</li><li>
Ability to multitask and display flexibility while carrying out duties.</li><li>
Must have a basic knowledge of computer software and operation (MS Office).</li><li>
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.</li><li>
Must be familiar with manufacturing based ERP planning systems.</li></ul><div><b>
