Responsible for scheduling deliveries and installations. Supervise all furniture installations and deliveries; coordinate with furniture/machine purchasing and sales staff, responsible for training new and current Shipping/Receiving personnel.Primary Job Duties/ResponsibilitiesDELIVERY/INSTALLATIONS:<ul><li>Supervise all city supply deliveries making sure they are completed correctly, courteously, and efficiently.</li><li>Assist out of town Delivery Driver in loading and unloading supplies, machines, and furniture while ensuring deliveries are completed in a timely manner.</li><li>As needed, deliver supplies and furniture to customers.</li><li>Supervise all furniture installations.</li><li>Coordinate with furniture/machine purchasing and sales staff for delivery to customers.</li><li>Assist other locations with furniture installations when schedule allows.</li><li>Prepare quotes for salespeople and customers for providing operational services, encompassing labor rates, limitations, and time framework for delivery.</li><li>Field phone calls from sales pertaining to installations and delivery.</li></ul>WAREHOUSE:<ul><li>Work with sales and purchasing to coordinate manpower for receiving large and/or off-site loads.</li><li>Work closely with Regional Sales Manager for smooth operation of department.</li><li>Provide training for new Shipping/Receiving personnel with Store Manager.</li><li>Develop and implement ongoing training for Shipping/Receiving personnel with Regional Sales Manager.</li><li>Day to day oversight of drivers and installation personnel with Regional Sales Manager.</li><li>Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse.</li></ul>ORDERING:<ul><li>Order replacement parts for damaged furniture or shortages.</li></ul>PERSONNEL:<ul><li>Effectively supervise personnel for optimum performance and compliance with company and departmental policies and procedures.</li><li>Manage and delegate personnel to perform various Shipping/Receiving duties, including assembly for floor, storing merchandise, trash pick-up, and installation of furniture.</li><li>Process personnel documentation according to established guidelines and time frames.</li><li>Create and maintain a good working relationship with sales.</li></ul>MISCELLANEOUS:<ul><li>Monitor and ensure service and maintenance of company vehicles.</li><li>Coordinate cleaning of store/warehouse work area.</li><li>Oversee furniture repair process.</li><li>Maintain the good operation of warehouse and delivery equipment, dollies, tools, etc.</li></ul>OTHER DUTIES AS MAY BE ASSIGNEDQualifications<ul><li>High School education or equivalent desirable</li><li>1-year warehouse experience preferred</li><li>Computer experience desirable</li></ul>Other<ul><li>Good verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Good customer relation skills</li><li>Accuracy skills</li><li>Good mechanical aptitude</li><li>Valid Driver's License and good driving record</li><li>Ability to drive vans/straight trucks and manual transmission</li><li>Ability to lift 100 pounds repeatedly during the work day</li><li>Ability to lift heavier objects with cart and/or assistance</li><li>Ability to assemble and install furniture in customer facilities</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
