Position Summary</b></h3><p>
We are seeking a reliable and nurturing individual to serve as both a <b>Preschool Mini Bus Driver</b> and<b> Lead After-School Teacher</b>. This dual-role position includes safely transporting children to and from our center and providing hands-on support across all age groups in our classrooms.</p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
Key Responsibilities</b></h3><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Bus Driver Duties</b></h4><ul><li>
Safely operate a company vehicle to transport children to and from the center and on occasional field trips.</li><li>
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.</li><li>
Ensure all passengers are properly secured and follow safety protocols.</li><li>
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior.</li><li>
Communicate professionally with parents and staff regarding transportation matters.</li></ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Classroom Support Duties</b></h4><ul><li>
Float between classrooms to support teachers with daily activities, transitions, and supervision.</li><li>
Assist with games, arts and crafts, music, storytelling, and other learning experiences.</li><li>
Help maintain a safe, orderly, and nurturing classroom environment.</li><li>
Provide age-appropriate care, including feeding, dressing, and diapering.</li><li>
Support children&rsquo;s hygiene and healthy habits through modeling and instruction.</li><li>
Build respectful, caring relationships with children and staff.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Qualifications</b></h3><ul><li>
Must be at least <b>21 years old</b>.</li><li>
Must hold a <b>valid driver&rsquo;s license</b> with a clean driving record.</li><li>
Experience working with young children preferred.</li><li>
Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and age groups.</li><li>
Strong communication and teamwork skills.</li><li>
Commitment to Christian values and early childhood education.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Work Environment &amp; Physical Demands</b></h3><ul><li>
Active preschool setting with frequent interaction with children.</li><li>
Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, and lift up to 40 lbs.</li><li>
Visual acuity required for driving and classroom supervision.</li></ul>
Requirements:

Required Education and Experience</b></p><ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>
Meet HHS minimum education and experience requirements</li></ul><p><b>
Preferred Education and Experience</b></p><ul><li>
Prior teaching experience</li></ul><p><b>
Additional Eligibility Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>
Meet minimum age, education, background check and medical qualifications for caregivers established by DFPS Licensing</li><li>
Complete annual training required by DFPS Licensing</li><li>
Maintain Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certifications</li><li>
Transporting children, a Class C driver's license with a clear Department of Public Safety record, and two hours of transportation training annually is required.</li></ul></div>
