Job OverviewHOURS 12:00-6:00 Monday thru Friday Please read the pay rate and all description before applying We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering the development and well-being of children in our care. This position requires a strong understanding of childhood development principles and the ability to create engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and growth for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and implement educational programs that cater to the developmental needs of children from infancy through preschool.</li><li>Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.</li><li>Supervise children during playtime, meals, and other activities to ensure their safety and well-being.</li><li>Foster positive relationships with children, promoting social skills and emotional development.</li><li>Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and any incidents that occur.</li><li>Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive teaching approach.</li><li>Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities.</li></ul>ExperienceRequired to have or be willing to get the 45 hours of training required by DCF<ul><li>A background in early childhood education or related field is preferred.</li><li>Experience in childcare settings such as daycare centers or preschools is highly desirable.</li><li>Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices is essential.</li><li>Familiarity with toddler care, infant care, and working with children with disabilities is a plus.</li><li>Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage children in meaningful activities are crucial.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.</li></ul>Join us in making a difference in the lives of young learners!Pay: $14.00 per hourWork Location: In person
