Job Summary and Mission:

This position contributes to the success of Earthbar by providing an exceptional customer service experience to all customers. Summary of Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

<li>Maintains a calm demeanor, especially during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to Earthbar standard</li>

<li>Delivers exceptional customer service to all customers; responds to customer needs in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Follows Earthbar operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling, and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all members during each shift.</li>
<li>Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that other team members can locate products easily.</li>
<li>Provides quality beverages consistently by adhering to all recipes.</li>
<li>Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.</li>

Service Excellence
<ul>
<li>Demonstrate World Class Hospitality: GREAT Customer Service (GREAT: Greet Guests, Respect them/team, Explain the menu/company, Add-ons/app, Thank)</li>
<li>Ensure speed of service by providing guests an incredible experience in an accurate and timely manner from when they place order (5-8 mins)</li>
<li>Contribute to team and guest positive culture and/or environment</li>
<li>Demonstrate professional communication by reading verbal and non-verbal ques</li>
<li>Obtain and demonstrate retail supplement education and product knowledge</li>
<li>Up-share product (recommending boosts and items that compliment)</li>

<li>Answer phones with proper and professional etiquette (expectation before 2 rings)</li>

Operational Excellence
<ul>
<li>Complete daily opening and closing checklist and tasks</li>
<li>Prepare food and beverages (such as smoothies, juices, acai bowls, toast, lattes) to build guide recipe and standards</li>
<li>Ensure correct measurements when following all food and drink recipe preparations</li>
<li>Complete tasks in a timely manner as designated by management</li>
<li>Stock incoming orders and merchandising product accordingly</li>
<li>Fill out waste log and other tracking documents</li>
<li>Wash blenders and kitchen utensils</li>
<li>Taking timely duty-free meal period(s) and/or rest break(s)</li>
<li>Be proactive to communicate to management if product is running low</li>
<li>Comfortable with excessive noise from blenders, juicers, and other equipment</li>
<li>Fulfill 3rd party and online orders accurately and in a timely manner</li>
<li>Follow daily and weekly deep cleaning calendar in store</li>
<li>Contribute and provide feedback for closing manager reports each day</li>
<li>Proficiency in the use technology and POS systems</li>
<li>Possess a Food Handlers Certification if required by local ordinance</li>
<li>Check expiration on made to order and retail product offerings, daily</li>
<li>Practice First In First Out (FIFO )product handling</li>
<li>Follow all safety and health guidelines</li>
<li>Conduct sampling events</li>

Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Ability to move and or lift up to 50lbs.</li>
<li>Ability to quickly learn new procedures, processes, and product knowledge</li>
<li>1-2 years of experience in food/beverage environments making smoothies, and/or specialty beverages, or experience in retail and hospitality</li>
<li>Barista, Nutrition, and Culinary education experience a plus!</li>
<li>Must have (or obtain) a Food Handlers License (i.e., ServSafe) prior to employment</li>
</ul>
Shifts:
<ul>
<li>Part-time/Full-time</li>
<li>Hours vary Monday-Sunday, early morning to evening shifts</li>
<li>Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, with or without reasonable accommodation</li>
