We&rsquo;re seeking a true 'hunter&rsquo; Business Developer who thrives on prospecting, uncovering new opportunities, and winning new business. This is not an account management role; it&rsquo;s about forging new relationships, generating leads, and closing deals to drive growth. You&rsquo;ll be in the field daily, actively searching for commercial property prospects, presenting customized solutions, and securing long-term landscape maintenance contracts.
What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>Act as a hunter by aggressively identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities in the commercial landscaping market</li><li>Conduct cold calls, site visits, and attend networking events to build a pipeline of qualified leads</li><li>Build strong relationships with property managers, HOAs, commercial property owners, and decision-makers</li><li>Develop and present custom maintenance solutions and proposals</li><li>Collaborate with operations and estimating teams on pricing and service planning</li><li>Track all activity in CRM software and submit weekly progress reports</li><li>Ensure a smooth handoff to account management and field teams</li></ul>
What We&rsquo;re Looking For
Must-Have:<ul><li>3+ years of B2B sales experience (landscaping, facilities, or service industry preferred)</li><li>Strong communication and relationship-building skills</li><li>Comfortable working independently in the field</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and clean driving record</li><li>Able to pass background check and drug screening</li></ul>
Nice-to-Have:<ul><li>Associate&rsquo;s or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field</li><li>Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus</li></ul>
Work Environment<ul><li>This is a field-based sales position with frequent outdoor site visits</li><li>Requires occasional walking, bending, or lifting up to 25 lbs</li><li>Exposure to varying weather conditions</li></ul>
