 Position Summary
 
 
 EASE is the leading platform for plant-floor audits and operational insights, trusted by manufacturers worldwide to drive quality and performance. As our customer base and need for scale grow, we&rsquo;re seeking a backend engineer to help evolve our SaaS platform&mdash;building robust APIs, enhancing performance, and enabling seamless integrations.
 
 
 This role strengthens scalability, optimizes data flows, and drives innovation to keep EASE robust, adaptable, and future-ready&mdash;within a modern ASP.NET Core, MySQL, AWS, and Angular platform.
 
 
 
 Position Location:
 
 Hybrid
 
 
 
 Annual Salary Range:
 
 $130,000-$160,000
 
 
 
 What You'll Do:
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 Build for scale and reliability.
 
 Design backend capabilities that enhance performance, resilience, and scalability
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Design efficient backend services.
 
 Develop and maintain APIs, workflows, and data layers for our SaaS platform
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Enhance performance.
 
 Diagnose and optimize data flows and queries to keep systems fast and stable
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Champion quality.
 
 Write clean, testable, and maintainable code with solid unit and API coverage
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Collaborate effectively.
 
 Work with Product, UX, and QA to turn complex requirements into maintainable solutions
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Continuously improve.
 
 Refine processes, developer tools, and engineering practices
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Required Qualifications &amp; Skills:
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 3+ years of professional server-side development experience
 </li>
 <li>
 Backend development experience with modern frameworks and languages (ASP.NET Core / C# preferred)
 </li>
 <li>
 Solid experience with relational databases and effective data modeling
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience developing and scaling APIs for high-volume SaaS applications
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with asynchronous processing, caching, and security best practices
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficient in unit and API testing, including test-driven development
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent collaboration, communication, and analytical skills
 </li>
 <li>
 BS in Computer Science / Engineering, or equivalent training
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Preferred Qualifications:
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Experience with AWS Cloud and services such as Lambda, SQS, SNS, or RDS
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience building efficient data layers using ORMs (Entity Framework, Dapper)
 </li>
 <li>
 Exposure to Python for scripting or AWS Lambda
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, New Relic, Grafana)
 
 </li>
 </ul>
