East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is hiring School Age Childcare Educators (also known as Lead Teachers) to support our Champion Childcare and After School Enrichment Programs at Pell Elementary School. This role is ideal for educators who thrive in out-of-school time settings and are passionate about creating safe, engaging, and inclusive environments where elementary-aged children can learn, grow, and belong.
This is a part-time, in-person role with consistent weekday afternoon hours during the school year.

<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">What You&rsquo;ll Do</h3>
Program &amp; Classroom Leadership
<ul><li>Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum and enrichment activities for elementary-aged children</li>
<li>Create a nurturing, structured environment that supports learning, play, creativity, and social-emotional growth</li>
<li>Build daily schedules that include homework support, literacy activities, physical activity, outdoor time, and student choice</li>
<li>Supervise children to ensure safety at all times and maintain required program ratios</li>
</ul>
Student Support
<ul><li>Support students&rsquo; academic progress through homework help and skill-building activities</li>
<li>Use positive behavior management strategies aligned with school expectations</li>
<li>Provide extra support to students who need additional structure or encouragement, in collaboration with school staff and program partners</li>
</ul>
Family &amp; School Partnership
<ul><li>Serve as a bridge between the school day and out-of-school time programs, as appropriate</li>
<li>Communicate thoughtfully with families and support family engagement efforts</li>
<li>Build positive working relationships with school faculty, site coordinators, and EBCAP colleagues</li>
</ul>
Team Collaboration &amp; Compliance
<ul><li>Assist in supervising and supporting Teacher Assistants, when assigned</li>
<li>Maintain accurate documentation and participate in licensing, credentialing, and quality improvement activities</li>
<li>Follow all EBCAP, NFCOZ, school district, and state childcare regulations</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">Schedule &amp; Work Setting</h3>
<ul><li>Part-time, in-person</li>
<li>Monday&ndash;Friday, approximately 2:30&ndash;6:00 PM (as scheduled or as needed)</li>
<li>School-year position with opportunities in:

<li>After School Enrichment Programs</li>

</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">Compensation</h3>
<ul><li>$21&ndash;$24 per hour, based on education and experience</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">What You&rsquo;ll Bring</h3>
Required Qualifications
<ul><li>At least 2 years of supervised experience in a licensed early childhood or school-age childcare program</li>
<li>Education that meets RI DHS Childcare Regulations, such as:
<ul><li>Associate&rsquo;s degree or higher (preferred) OR</li>
<li>CDA, relevant college credits, or qualifying experience per state guidelines</li>
</ul></li><li>Experience working with elementary-aged children</li>
<li>Strong classroom management and positive behavior support skills</li>
<li>Ability to work collaboratively with diverse children, families, and colleagues</li>
<li>Ability to lift up to 25&ndash;35 pounds and meet the physical demands of an active school-based program</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, Human Services, or a related field</li>
<li>Experience supporting children with diverse learning or behavioral needs</li>
<li>Bilingual skills (Spanish, Portuguese, or Cape Verdean Creole)</li>
<li>Passion for community-based, equity-focused education work</li>

About the Role
East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is seeking a compassionate and organized Case Manager to support older adults and adults with disabilities across Rhode Island. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about person-centered care, enjoys working in the community, and thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
As a Case Manager, you&rsquo;ll provide unbiased care coordination and case management services to individuals enrolled in Medicaid, Cost Share (CNOM), and Adult Protective Services (APS). You&rsquo;ll work closely with participants, families, service providers, and internal teams to promote safety, independence, and overall well-being.
What You&rsquo;ll Do
<ul><li>Conduct assessments to understand participants&rsquo; strengths, needs, resources, and goals</li>
<li>Develop and maintain person-centered care plans</li>
<li>Coordinate services for older adults, adults with disabilities, and individuals with I/DD</li>
<li>Meet with participants in homes, assisted living facilities, group homes, and community settings</li>
<li>Partner with home care agencies, adult day health providers, and other community supports</li>
<li>Monitor progress and update care plans as needs change</li>
<li>Respond to Adult Protective Services (APS) referrals and help ensure participant safety</li>
<li>Maintain timely and accurate documentation in electronic case management systems</li>
<li>Communicate regularly with participants, families, and interdisciplinary team members</li>
</ul>

Minimum Requirements
<ul><li>Associate&rsquo;s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience)</li>
<li>Minimum of two years of case management experience</li>
<li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance</li>
<li>Willingness to travel statewide within Rhode Island</li>
</ul>
Preferred
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Gerontology, or related field</li>
<li>Experience working with older adults or adults with disabilities</li>
<li>Bilingual in Spanish and/or Portuguese</li>
</ul>
Position Details

<li>Work Environment: Hybrid (remote up to 2 days/week; community-based visits required)</li>
