Position Summary</b></h3><p>
Good Neighbor Community Health Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled <b>Clinic Nurse (RN or LPN)</b> to join our team in Fremont. As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we are committed to providing accessible, high-quality care to all patients, regardless of ability to pay.</p><p>
The Clinic Nurse provides professional nursing care including assessment, treatment, care planning, and evaluation in accordance with established standards and practices. This role serves as a key liaison between patients, providers, and care teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.</p><p></p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Essential Job Functions</b></h3><ul><li>
Obtain and document patient health histories, chief complaints, vital signs, and medication information, including refills and patient assistance programs</li><li>
Provide patient care in accordance with clinical guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state regulations</li><li>
Administer prescribed medications and treatments; monitor, evaluate, and document patient responses</li><li>
Delegate duties as permitted under the Nurse Practice Act</li><li>
Collaborate with providers, specialists, and community resources to address patient needs</li><li>
Accurately document patient assessments and interventions in electronic medical records</li><li>
Maintain and review patient charts, test results, and clinical documentation</li><li>
Respond to patient phone calls and triage care needs appropriately</li><li>
Assist with coordination and integration of care across healthcare services</li><li>
Manage inventory and documentation of sample medications, ensuring compliance with dispensing protocols</li><li>
Perform additional duties as assigned</li></ul><p></p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Education</b></h3><ul><li>
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required)</li></ul><p></p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Required Qualifications</b></h3><ul><li>
Current Nebraska RN or LPN license</li><li>
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification</li><li>
Knowledge of professional nursing practices, standards of care, and applicable regulations</li><li>
Understanding of medical record documentation and healthcare privacy laws</li><li>
Ability to calculate and administer medications accurately</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar systems</li><li>
Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and intellectual backgrounds</li></ul><p></p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Preferred Qualifications</b></h3><ul><li>
Previous experience in a hospital, clinic, or physician&rsquo;s office</li><li>
Strong triage skills (in-person and telephone)</li><li>
Ability to respond effectively in crisis or emergency situations</li><li>
Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills preferred</li></ul><p></p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
