Independent Mortgage Field Inspection ContractorWe are seeking Independent Mortgage Field Inspection Contractors for completion of Inspections in the following counties:<ul><li>Addison County VT</li><li>Washington County VT</li><li>Orange County VT</li><li>Lamoille County VT</li><li>Orleans County VT</li><li>Caledonia County VT</li><li>Essex County VT</li></ul>Field Inspection experience or other relevant experience is preferred, but not required. Currently there is no special licensing or certifications required for these types of inspections.Independent Mortgage Field Inspectors complete inspections on behalf of Mortgage companies, for existing mortgages. The inspector&rsquo;s primary focus is to locate, photograph, determine occupancy status and document the condition of each property. Inspectors complete Occupancy verification inspections, Vacant property Inspections as well as occasional specialty inspections such as property damage inspections.Examples of tasks required include determining whether the property is occupied of vacant, reporting the condition of the property, delivering door cards, determining utility status, and reporting observed damages.Inspectors are paid a flat fee per completed inspection; no mileage or expenses are reimbursed. Earning potential is based on each Contractors availability, willingness to travel, and desired territory and volume.Minimum Requirements:<ul><li>A Business entity such as LLC or Corporation*</li><li>Candidate must be located within one of the above-referenced counties.</li><li>Weekday, daytime availability on a year-round basis &mdash; Part-time availability is OK, but candidate must have weekday, daytime availability.</li><li>Dependable and fuel-efficient transportation</li><li>Driver License</li><li>Android or iOS Apple Smartphone</li><li>Laptop or Desktop Computer</li><li>Printer/Scanner</li><li>High Speed Internet</li><li>GPS</li><li>Volt Stick/Voltage Tester</li><li>Yard stick/Meter Stick</li><li>Must be able to pass Background Check and Motor Vehicle Record check</li></ul>*This is an Independent Contractor (1099), Business-to-Business opportunity.
