JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to Project Managers while on assigned projects, directs and coordinates production efforts through assigned supervisory personnel and subcontractors. With the guidance of the Project Manager, helps establish aggressive production schedules and budgets, and ensures that plans, goals, and requirements are being met. Achieves goals by collaborating with team members to establish plans for successful execution of work. The Superintendent 1 is an entry level Superintendent position. The scope of responsibility for this entry level Superintendent position is commensurate with that of smaller, less complex projects. With progressive training, development, and experience, the Superintendent 1 can be entrusted with projects of increasing size and complexity. 

 
 
Job Requirements: 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
<div><ul><li>Coordinates with craft Foreman to ensure that material, tooling, information, manpower, and equipment is available to support schedule and project requirements.
</li></ul><ul><li>Coordinates with supervision and subcontractors to obtain optimum production, by establishing priorities and coordinating efforts between trades.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assists the Project Manager and collaborates with assigned project QA personnel to ensure that all required reports are submitted by trade supervisors.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ensures that no additional work is performed outside of what is designated in contract specifications, and effectively interprets specification ambiguities.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Recognizes and addresses change work and helps articulate appropriate arguments for condition found reports.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Consults with trade supervision and customers to assess technical conflicts and provides recommendations for resolution.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Promotes a strong culture of Safety in their engagement with Production teams.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul></div>

 <ul><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Must have Microsoft Office Software experience, and knowledge of Microsoft Project is a plus.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or other engineering fields preferred.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Three to five years related marine, shipyard or industrial experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Must be authorized to work in the United States.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Must be able to gain access to military installations.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Must successfully pass a drug screen and background investigation.</li></ul></div>

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus. JOB SUMMARY:
The Project Manager is responsible for the proper administration, planning, scheduling and budget for assigned projects. Coordinates daily activities, resolves resource conflicts within the company, and resolves customer issues. The Project Manager 2 is a more seasoned project manager position with the knowledge base and experience of good project management principles. The scope of responsibility for this Project Manager position is commensurate with that of larger, more complex projects. With progressive training, development, and experience, the Project Manager 2 can be entrusted with projects of increasing size and complexity and can also be entrusted in managing multiple projects at one time. 

 
 
Job Requirements: 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
<div><ul><li>Creates, maintains, and analyzes budgets, records, logs, and production schedules to ensure work is accomplished within budget and on time.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Coordinates with craft supervision, Production Manager, Division Manager, QA, and Safety to ensure that planning requirements are established and met.
</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure Superintendents and project Supervision develop daily and weekly plans consistent with the overall project schedule.
</li></ul><ul><li>Coordinates with Supervision and subcontractors to ensure that schedule conflicts do not arise between different trades.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Reviews and submits all condition reports to the customer, advising of cost and schedule impacts.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Negotiates all contract changes with the customer.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Facilitates daily production meetings with Superintendent, Supervisors, QA, and Safety to ensure that all aspects of the project are being planned and executed in a safe and productive manner.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Allocate project resources efficiently.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Forecast and drive towards estimates at completion, and accurately reports on project financial performance expectations.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for customer for all contractual matters.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul></div>
