Who We Are:Soccer Shots East County San Diego, LLC, is a team of passionate individuals who love what they do and work with children aged 18 months to 10 years old. We are on a mission to positively impact our San Diego community through the love of soccer. Our high-quality and high-energy soccer classes run weekly throughout San Diego County. We proudly serve and partner with Preschools, Elementary schools, and Public Parks; from Imperial Beach to Escondido, we serve thousands of families every week. We care deeply about our brand, our teammates, and our students as we represent San Diego and soccer development.Key Role:The Coaching Coordinator works closely with The Director of Childhood Development to build a dynamic and successful Coaching team. This position is responsible for the training, team building, coverage, curriculum support, scheduling and completing evaluations, leading meetings, and coaching. This position is 50% on the field and 50% in the office.Responsibilities<ul><li>Coach 5-12 Soccer Shots classes a week, dependent on company&rsquo;s need</li><li>Assists the Director of Childhood Development with new hire orientation to all new team members</li><li>Assists with creating a training schedule for new team members</li><li>Schedules all coaching related shifts for teammates</li><li>Supports team members through 1:1 meetings</li><li>Holds coaches accountable and follow-up when necessary</li><li>Oversees and completes on-field evaluations for all team members and trainers</li><li>Assists with the development and continued training of the coaching team</li><li>Seeks out talent to promote internal team members</li><li>Assists in researching, creating, and improving training methods for the coaching team</li><li>Assists with monthly team meetings, creating agenda and team-building activities</li><li>Attends weekly coaching department meetings (has read or is reading Traction, EOS)</li><li>Serves as one of the first sub for absences or if coaches leave during the season</li><li>Represents Soccer Shots at community and Soccer Shots run events, a minimum of 1 time per quarter (not to include our Tournaments)</li><li>Responsible for all coaching inventory and gear</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Ability to lift and carry sports equipment (Approx. 40 pounds)</li><li>Reliable transportation in order to travel to classes all over San Diego and San Diego County</li><li>Full-time availability including on Saturdays</li><li>The ability to communicate with the Soccer Shots office while in the field</li><li>Proof of a TB test within the past 2 years from the date of hire OR proof of a TB test taken within 6 months after the hire date; proof of a new TB test must be taken every 2 years</li><li>Completion of 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units</li><li>Proof of Pediatric CPR Certification must be completed within 2 months of the start date; Pediatric CPR Certification must be reissued every 2 years</li><li>Completion of the Mandated Reporter Training; certification required</li><li>Availability 90% of Soccer Shots business hours, Saturday&rsquo;s required</li></ul>Pay range:$21-$26.50 per hourFull-time position that includes:<ul><li>17 paid holidays (only with completed ECE units)</li><li>5.4 days of accrued vacation a year</li><li>40 hours per week, plus mileage reimbursement</li><li>Cell phone reimbursement monthly</li><li>401k enrollment after 90 days</li><li>Quarterly Coach Performance Bonus</li><li>$1 per hour raise at anniversary + 10 hours of PTO</li><li>Quarterly / Annual profit share opportunity based on KPIs</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>On-the-job training</li><li>Opportunities for advancement</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Paid training</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Referral program</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li></ul>Office Location: La Mesa, CA 91942Please apply by: Sunday, December 14thJob Type: Full-timePay: $21.00 - $26.50 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>On-the-job training</li><li>Opportunities for advancement</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Paid training</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Referral program</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>La Mesa, CA 91943 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>La Mesa, CA 91943: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
