Overview:

We are currently seeking a Relationship Manager in our Commercial Real Estate group. This individual will be responsible for all phases of relationship management and business development. They will examine, evaluate, authorize or recommend approval of customer applications for commercial real estate loans.</div><div></div><div><br>

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Develop relationships with middle market/commercial real estate clients</li><li>
Manage and maintain existing customer relationships</li><li>
Negotiate approved terms conditions with borrowers</li><li>
Acquire qualified referrals from existing clients and investors</li><li>
Cross sell bank products and services</li><li>
Administer existing loan portfolios</li><li>
Extensive relationship management</li><li>
Analyze financial statements and perform underwriting duties</li><li>
Build successful relationships with retail banking partners</li><li>
Identifies and analyze potential loan markets to develop prospects for commercial loans</li><li>
Advise loan manager of external factors that may affect establishment lending policies, such as new or revised legislation and regulations</li><li>
Recommend and implement appropriate changes to establish policies and procedures</li><li>
Manage and lead team of relationship managers and support staff</li><li>
Other duties as assigned</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>8+ years CRE lending and portfolio management experience</li><li>
Strong Finance background</li><li>
Strong knowledge base in Treasury, FX, and Derivative products</li><li>
Proven sales track record and strong negotiation skills</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in banking, finance, or other related field</li></ul>
Compensation: The base pay range for this position is USD $70,000.00/Yr. - USD $220,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.</div>

Overview:

East West Bank is looking for a Commercial Banking Relationship Manager. This role is to champion commercial banking business activities in the commercial banking segment with an aim to deepen and broaden relationships. Qualified individual must work well within a team environment, be a self-starter and collaborates closely with internal partners to deliver customer solutions.</div>
Responsibilities:<br>

Actively prospects new customers and penetrates the existing client relationships.</li><li>
Assumes the overall responsibility to conduct due diligence, assess the risks and structure the credit facilities.</li><li>
Performs the client portfolio risk management and monitoring to ensure each client relationship is in compliance with established EWB credit policy, procedure and business strategy as well as commercial and regulatory guidelines.</li><li>
Prepares credit proposals, conducts regular credit reviews and monitors credit quality.</li><li>
Cross-sells treasure services, trade finance, foreign exchange, interest rate derivatives, wealth management and other services to the existing clients and prospects.</li><li>
Works closely with internal stakeholders in particular the partners in EWB Greater China teams to explore and develop business opportunities.
</li><li>Structures cross-border solutions including but not limited to global credits, treasury management, trade and FX solutions.</li><li>
Facilitates cross-border transactions by giving support and advice to internal partners regarding the relevant regulatory updates of China and solutions.</li><li>
Provides cross-border market intelligence and insight to assist with the internal solution/product development.</li><li>
Stays actively in the community events and trade organizations to promote EWB brand</li><li>
Performs other duties and special projects as needed</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>University degree preferred</li><li>
Minimum of 10 years relationship management and sales experience in the commercial banking field</li><li>
Well versed in market dynamics in mainland China and the US. Having experience in dealing with mainland corporate customers</li><li>
High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers</li><li>
Excellent good communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>
Highly self-motivated and able to work under pressure and independently</li></ul>
Compensation: The base pay range for this position is USD $70,000.00/Yr. - USD $220,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.</div>
