We&rsquo;re looking for a hands-on, detail-driven* Chief Engineer* to lead property operations, uphold the highest maintenance standards, and ensure every system runs safely and efficiently. This is a role for a true working leader&amp;mdash;someone who&rsquo;s just as confident turning a wrench as they are leading a team or coordinating with vendors. You&rsquo;ll oversee all building systems, manage preventive maintenance, and keep everything from HVAC to snowmelt systems in top shape&amp;mdash;all while fostering a motivated, high-performing engineering crew. What We Offer: <ul><li>$3,000 Sign-On Bonus</li></ul><ul><li>Flexible scheduling that supports work-life balance</li></ul><ul><li>Paid mileage reimbursement</li></ul><ul><li>A values-driven culture that respects and rewards your expertise</li></ul>Your Impact: <ul><li>Perform and oversee maintenance of all building systems&amp;mdash;mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and structural.</li></ul><ul><li>Lead budgeting, planning, and capital project coordination.</li></ul><ul><li>Drive preventive maintenance, energy efficiency, and safety compliance.</li></ul><ul><li>Manage vendor relationships and property upkeep, ensuring every detail meets East West standards.</li></ul><ul><li>Partner with the HOA and General Manager through board meetings and ongoing property initiatives.</li></ul>Location: Frontgate - Avon Start Date: ASAP Employment Type: Full Time Year Round Schedule: Monday - Friday but can accommodate weekends, four 10 shifts and/or some night work Pay Rate: $90,000 -$97.000 annually, DOE + $3,000 sign on bonus! (half paid after 60 days, and half paid after 120 days) Job Closing Date: 11/22/2025 or until filled Minimum Requirements The Right Candidate Will Have: <ul><li>A bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent experience, valid Colorado driver&rsquo;s license, and a detail-oriented, safety-conscious mindset.</li></ul><ul><li>Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience across multiple trades, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, irrigation, and pool/spa maintenance.</li></ul><ul><li>Excellent administrative and organizational abilities, with experience in vendor coordination, invoice processing, warranty tracking, and maintenance reporting.</li></ul><ul><li>Professional communication and leadership skills to interact effectively with guests, owners, HOAs, and senior leadership, as well as to lead and support team performance.</li></ul><ul><li>Proficiency with technology and property management systems, including spreadsheets and reporting tools.</li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of HOA operations and board relations, including budgeting and reserve analysis (preferred but highly valued).</li></ul>Benefits &amp; Perks Onsite Parking in Avon!
