To ensure all service recipients receive timely and accurate financial services. Assist service recipients in achieving independence with personal finances.</p><ul><li>
Responsible for completing necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner</li><li>
Ensure a quality service for individuals served, acting as an advocate for service recipients</li><li>
Comply with Easter Seals Policies and Procedures and Employee Handbook, DDA, Licensure, Title VI, HIPAA, and Confidentiality requirements</li><li>
Adhere to all federal, state, and local laws regarding the safe operation of a motor vehicle, including the use of adaptive devices/equipment on vehicles</li><li>
Attend in-service training sessions, meetings, and out of town activities as required</li><li>
Promote a positive work environment treating individuals served, staff, customers, and visitors with courtesy and respect</li><li>
Provide cooperation and communication between all applicable parties and departments to ensure that the service recipients goals and outcomes are fully integrated into their life</li><li>
Ensure Representative Payee Reports are completed for SSI/SSA benefits annually</li><li>
Reconcile service recipients check books with monthly bank statements</li><li>
Review monthly petty cash forms, receipts of purchases, and food stamp receipts</li><li>
File all documentation according to DDA and Easter Seals guidelines</li><li>
Train all Home Managers in Personal Funds Management</li><li>
Send financial information to appropriate parties each month</li><li>
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance</li><li>
Back up to the front desk receptionist.</li></ul>
Requirements:
<p>
QUALIFICATIONS:</p><ul><li>
College degree in accounting preferred and a High School Diploma required</li><li>
Must have 1 &ndash; 2 years experience in accounting or related field</li><li>
Must have prior experience with bank statements, deposit logs, and reconciliation of accounts</li><li>
Skilled in QuickBooks, Word, Excel, and Outlook</li><li>
Excellent oral and written communication abilities and math skills in order to write reports and keep records</li><li>
Must maintain current on DDA and agency training requirements</li></ul></div>
