it Eastern International College is seeking a professional and student-focused Library Assistant to support the daily operations of our academic library, and provide excellent service to students, faculty, and staff.Qualifications: The successful candidate must possess a bachelor's degree and preferably have previous experience working as a Library Assistant or in a library setting. Preference will be given to candidates who are currently enrolled in or pursuing a Master of Library Science (MLS/MLIS) degree, but is not a requirement. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and other basic technology applications.Responsibilities: The Library Assistant will assist students, faculty, and staff with library resources and services; perform circulation duties, including checking materials in and out; organize, shelve, and maintain library collections; assist students in accessing online library resources; assist with library programs, orientations, and special projects; support the use of library databases and electronic resources; and help maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional library environmentPay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
