Eastern Shore Urgent Care is looking for a qualified medical assistant to deliver high-quality patient care within our healthcare team.Responsibilities to include but not be limited to:<ul><li>Triage- take vital signs and perform intake assessments utilizing EHR system</li><li>Medications- administer both orally and via intramuscular/transdermal injection</li><li>Wound care- clean wounds and apply appropriate bandages, suture removals</li><li>Perform tests- swab patients for viral/bacterial pathogens, perform urinalysis, phlebotomy, EKG</li><li>Call backs- follow up with patients regarding lab results or patient cases/concerns</li></ul>This position will be for every weekend (unless closed for a holiday). Weekend hours are 8:00AM - 3:00PM Saturday and Sunday with 10% shift differential added. Clock out once the last patient is checked out.Job Type: Part-timePay: From $15.00 per hourMedical Specialty:<ul><li>Urgent Care</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>EMR systems: 1 year (Required)</li><li>post-graduate: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>BLS Certification (Preferred)</li><li>Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
