Early Childhood Special Educator &ndash; Early Intervention
We are currently seeking a compassionate, student-centered Early Childhood Special Educator to join our team of Early Intervention Providers within the Children&rsquo;s Therapeutic Services program at Easterseals.
Our program utilizes each child&rsquo;s natural curiosity to create developmentally appropriate, strengths-based learning experiences that enhance growth and development, in close partnership with families and caregivers.
In this role, you will collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary, pediatric therapy team&mdash;including Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and other related service providers&mdash;to deliver evidence-based early intervention services to children from birth through school age. Services are provided in home- and clinic-based settings and emphasize a whole-child, family-centered approach.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Conduct in-depth developmental assessments and evaluations</li><li>
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans using data-driven, evidence-based practices</li><li>
Provide differentiated instruction and developmental support tailored to each child&rsquo;s needs</li><li>
Write daily documentation and quarterly progress reports to support progress monitoring and compliance</li><li>
Participate as an active member of IFSP and IEP teams, collaborating with families and service providers</li><li>
Maintain compliance with IDEA and state regulations</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in early childhood education, Special Education, or related</li><li>
NH Department of Education certifications/endorsements in one of the following is required:</li><li>
Early Childhood Education (N-3)</li><li>
Early Childhood Special Education (N-3)</li><li>
Special Education</li><li>
Reliable vehicle and insurance</li><li>
3 years&rsquo; experience working with young children preferred</li></ul>
Compensation: Starting $68,000 per year
Hours: This is a full-time, 40 hour/week position.
