<div>School Psychologist (Probationary)
Description: The Eastport-South Manor School District is looking for a certified School Psychologist. Key responsibilities of this role include:
<ul><li>NYS Certified School Psychologist;
</li><li>Knowledge of NYSED Part 200, 201 and Federal IDEA regulations;</li>
<li>Conduct psychological assessments, write psychological reports, interpret results for students/parents, write IEPs, participate in CSE/team meetings, and Multi-Tier Support System Meetings</li>
<li>Provide individual and group therapy per IEP requirements.</li>
<li>Lead crisis intervention efforts and develop functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans.</li>
<li>Integrate psychological services into the classroom environment as appropriate.</li>
<li>Assist staff in the design and implementation of appropriate interventions and accommodations for students.</li>
<li>Contribute to district SEL program development that furthers the integration of social, coping, and problem-solving skills in the classroom.</li>
<li>Provide support services and community resources to caregivers as needed.</li>
<li>Coordinate and/or collaborate with a range of individuals/agencies to promote and provide comprehensive services to students and families.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the related services team and school principal to provide appropriate services and make recommendations as necessary.
