The Opportunity

 Team: Residential Support Team (Works Across ALL Teams: Residential &amp; Business) 
 Position: Computer Repair | Tech Support | Sales | Field Support (In-Person Role with Hybrid options) 
 Location: 344 N Washington Street, Saint Croix Falls, WI (Service Center #001) 
 Schedule Options: 9:00 AM &ndash; 5:30 PM (Solutions Role), 9:45 AM &ndash; 6:15 PM (Repair &amp; Support Role) 
 Client Type: Residential (Home Users) &amp; Business Support

As part of the Residential Support Team, you&rsquo;ll work in person at our Service Center, handling the majority of physical support needs for all teams&mdash;including Business &amp; Residential Support. 
 
This role is highly collaborative, working closely with: 
&#10004;&#65039; Other Service Centers to support local and regional clients. 
&#10004;&#65039; Remote Teams (Home Support &amp; Business Support) to coordinate repairs, sales, and field service. 
 
Your daily responsibilities will include troubleshooting hardware/software issues, handling tech sales, providing remote support, and performing field service visits. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that requires strong technical expertise and customer service skills. 
 
What You&rsquo;ll Do

This role combines technical troubleshooting, in-person repairs, and IT sales. You&rsquo;ll be expected to quickly diagnose issues, resolve problems, and offer solutions that improve the client experience. 
 
 Key Responsibilities:

&#10004;&#65039; Diagnose and repair computer hardware and software issues for residential &amp; business clients. 
&#10004;&#65039; Provide in-person technical support &ndash; Troubleshoot and resolve problems onsite at the Service Center. 
&#10004;&#65039; Assist customers with IT solutions &ndash; Recommend products, memberships, security options, and other tech services. 
&#10004;&#65039; Perform field support &ndash; Conduct onsite service visits for installations, troubleshooting, and repairs. 
&#10004;&#65039; Manage multiple tasks efficiently &ndash; Handle repairs, sales inquiries, remote support sessions, and phone calls. 
&#10004;&#65039; Answer inbound calls and assist walk-in clients &ndash; Help customers find solutions in-store, over the phone, and via remote support. 
&#10004;&#65039; Work closely with the Business &amp; Residential Teams &ndash; Communicate via Microsoft Teams to coordinate service and client needs. 
&#10004;&#65039; Keep up with industry trends &ndash; Stay updated on the latest technology solutions and best practices. 
 
This is not just a repair job&mdash;you will play a key role in client interactions, service coordination, and IT solutions recommendations. 
 
Who We&rsquo;re Looking For

&#9989; Required Skills &amp; Experience

&#10004;&#65039; 3+ years of IT support &amp; troubleshooting experience 
&#10004;&#65039; 2+ years of sales and customer service experience 
&#10004;&#65039; 1+ years of experience in field support (onsite troubleshooting, networking, or IT services) 
&#10004;&#65039; Strong technical aptitude &amp; passion for IT 
&#10004;&#65039; Local candidates only &ndash; Must be within 30 miles of Saint Croix Falls, WI 
&#10004;&#65039; Proficiency in Windows OS &amp; Microsoft 365 
&#10004;&#65039; Ability to diagnose, repair, and replace hardware components 
&#10004;&#65039; Experience installing operating systems, software, and drivers 
&#10004;&#65039; Excellent communication skills &ndash; Ability to explain tech solutions to non-technical users 
&#10004;&#65039; Physical ability to stand for an entire shift &amp; perform onsite visits as needed 
 
 Bonus Points &ndash; Preferred Skills

&#10004;&#65039; Typing speed of 60+ WPM 
&#10004;&#65039; Experience working at an MSP or MSSP (3-5+ years preferred) 
&#10004;&#65039; Networking experience (Firewall/Router &amp; Networking troubleshooting) 
&#10004;&#65039; Sales expertise in IT services, hardware, and security solutions 
&#10004;&#65039; IT Certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, etc.) 
&#10004;&#65039; AS/BS Degree in IT or related field
